White Elephant Thai Cuisine at Chestermere Station

Really great people. Owners and staff are super friendly but unfortunately I can’t give a higher rating because the food is not very good. The food is always very sweet. But the real burden is the price. 2 chicken pad Thai’s were $54 for a pick up order! I know it’s not directly the owners fault (tariffs, taxes, inflation going up). I just cannot stomach an almost $60 take out order for 2 people again.

I’ve tried this place time and time again, and I keep leaving disappointed. Can’t say I’ll be back. Sorry guys.

Great Thai food. For those who know about the 16th ave location, know they’re both great but I’d give the win to Chestermere location. Have ordered take-out in the past but the food dine-in is even better. The fish fillet with the curry sauce is a favourite with the coconut rice. Papaya and mango salad are both amazing, authentic and sizeable portion. The price point for dishes for the most part is $15-25 range and the portions are on the “right-on” to larger size. Have never left here hungry. Great spot that deserves more attention! Keep up the good work White Elephant Chestermere!

Ordered take out in person at this location as I was passing through on my way to Calgary. The food was outstanding, as expected, and the service was very quick to have it prepared. The servings are generous, as I had leftovers for a few days. If you're looking for the place, don't look for the name of the restaurant outside, as it's not displayed. It's the only Thai restaurant around there, so look for the words "Thai food" and images of a white elephant, then prepare to enjoy the delicious dishes they offer!

we ordered 3 dishes for takeout each ranging from $20-24. portions were tiny. they filled up most of the dishes with vegetables and little meat. the meat was quite dry. it's no wonder seats are empty.

The food here is to die for! Probably the most fresh and delicious Thai food I’ve ever had and the portion sizes are huge! I’m always surprised at how much shrimp and high quality veggies are in each portion and they never skimp on the good stuff. Tons of flavour and always great service!

I just stood inside the restaurant for 8 full minutes while all 3 people working (2 ladies cooking) and one male server everyone looked at me and no one even approached me. All 3 made eye contact and still no one even acknowledged me. There was 3 tables of people inside so I just left

There's a wide variety of dishes for everyone, including spicy and non-spicy. Different curries, noodles, meat, and rice options.

However, the pad thai tasted a bit ketchup-y and sweeter than at other restaurants.

My fav restaurant EVER. Highly highly recommend the pad see-ew and tom yum soup. Both are so good!
