A place I have supported each time I travel to the town but I wont ever be coming back. Walked into the shop in the morning... I was the only customer - staff member saw me approaching the counter and with an unfriendly look on her face she turned her back to me and walked away without so much as a "good morning" or "ill be with you in a moment". I got the message loud and clear - customers not wanted so I left. I ignored poor customer service I experienced on a previous visit but never again. Here's a big hint to this business... you'd better understand what customer service is about and teach your staff. No excuse in today's world to not know how to treat customers.

Great location, just off the highway. Excellent service, pleasing atmosphere. Disappointed in the coffee!! Way too hot, and couldn't taste the coffee flavour. Foam on the flat white, was very thin, and watery.

Stopped in on my way through town. Seemed like it would be a decent place, based only on appearance. The pastry and lemon loaf was not fresh tasting, and the coffee was weak. They have no markings for sizing and seemed annoyed at any customer asked about sizing. The staff had no general politeness, and when we walked in just looked at us, and said nothing. For small town Alberta I expected a totally different vibe.

Stopped at Blackwood on a road trip for a coffee. This little gem was super cute, great service and a total positive vibe. If you are looking for a good cup of coffee and a bakery treat, this is the place!
I was just visiting my grandma and happen to see this amazing little coffee shop. I was served by what I believe was the owner, and he was a very kinda and charismatic gentleman. The coffee seemed high quality tho I only got a strawberry matcha latter, which was quite good! Fantastic vibes and a nice selection of treats on top of it. I would certainly go back and would recommened this Cafe to anyone near by. Keep up the great work man!?

Great authentic coffee shop. Freshly brewed coffee was awesome along with a selection of pastries , brownies and other food options. ( soup , wraps, sandwiches). Definitely a must visit. We'll be back.
