Roy's Place Reviews
So disappointing. No one in our party of 5 really enjoyed their meals (the cinnamon bun we all shared was good but was $12 (!). Prices have increased substantially since we were there last and the food is not great.
What a RIP off, show be renamed to “Jesse James Place” as they will lighten your wallet for a tasteless meal. We pulled up there and seen people eating their bag lunch in the parking lot and wondered why, well we went in and ordered a sandwhich and bowl of house soup, between the two of us. Well bland tasteless it was and the bill came and it was over 40 DOLLARS for a bowl of soup(special) and a sandwhich and glass of ice tea, highway robbery in Claresholm it is and tasteless....read full review
We stopped here for lunch for the first time. We were made to feel super welcome, like family. The staff were so nice, and the food was AH-MAZE-ING!! We will be back!

Roy's Place in Lethbridge is well known for its take and bake cinnamon buns, which many customers praise highly. The service is friendly and attentive, and the signs in the restaurant add to the pleasant atmosphere. Guests enjoy hot chocolate while waiting for the delicious buns, which are described as amazing, divine, and definitely worth the trip. The buns come with lovely syrup and whipped cream cheese. Although the restaurant can be busy, the food is consistently good, including the chicken strips and the club house, which one diner called one of the best they have tasted. The gluten-free bun also gets positive feedback. Customers have enjoyed tasty fish and chips, with good-sized portions, and an excellent steak sandwich that was very tender and one of the best in years. The fries are often not homemade, but the friendly staff makes the visit enjoyable. The Mushroom mozzarella burger was also noted as very good, with fresh and tasty mushrooms and melted cheese. A standout item is the cinnamon roll, which is light and airy, and can feed multiple people, especially when microwaved briefly before adding the icing. Overall, Roy's Place is a kid-friendly spot that many are eager to return to.
