Was here 4 years ago. Boy has it changed. Interior & exterior needs an update. Can't say anything bad about the young girl serving us. Can't ay anything good about the food. Fish & chips worse I've ever had. Fish was so greasy & beer batter it was not nor was the batter cooked. I don't think fries were homemade. Either get a proper recipe for batter or scrap this from menu. The little fish I did taste wasn't good. Sooooo thin. I would ? grease being used & whose is cooking. The noodle soup bowl my friend had which she didn't know was soup was bland no flavour whatsoever. Drove from Calgary. So disappointed. Unfortunately last time here.

We stopped by Roy's Place on our travels home and the food was amazing! I had the BEST clubhouse and a bowl of their homemade soup. I also ordered some of their soup to take home. The quality of the food was amazing and you could not make it yourself for what they were charging. I will definitely stop there whenever I am in Claresholme again.

Tasty fish and chips, good size portions. Excellent steak sandwich,very tender, best I have had in years, only wish homemade fries were an option. Friendly, attentive waitress. Will definately make a point to stop in again when in area.

Best cinnamon roll I have had in my life! I normally hate cream cheese frosting but as it was to go it was on the side. It light and airy icing. It fed 3 of us and could have fed more microwaved it 15 seconds and then put the icing on. Never been there since I am always passing through. Will definitely go again!

I had the Canadian burger and it was great. One of the better burger patties ive have in a while! Waitress was very welcoming and friendly. I’m sure some of the poor reviews were justified, but do not let the bogus bad reviews keep you from enjoying a great meal in a welcoming atmosphere!

The Asian noodle bowl was just okay and kinda of bland and lacking some depth and flavour. The giant cinnamon bun however was delicious!

Tasty food and friendly staff. I believe they have Fish and Chips special on Friday's with two fish pieces(regular one).
Their Cinamon bun is massive and yummy. Don't try by yourself. You need a hand in finishing it.

Very disappointed in the poor quality of food. I sent the coleslaw back as it was grey and tasted off. The waitress was lovely and notified the kitchen staff, who tasted it and said nothing was wrong and that is how they make coleslaw. The ceasar salad tasted old, like lettuce that had sat for weeks in the back of the fridge. My guest had a beef dip that was unremarkable in quality and taste. I had the chicken fried steak properly cooked with a very stodgy dense biscuit. The food is not good. Roy’s is now a restaurant that I will not go back to.

On a recommendation from a friend I stopped in today for breakfast. Let’s just say Sophie is absolutely amazing! Attentive, smiley and just a wonderful polite courteous person! The food is equally as good and the cinnamon bun is out of this world. Will be back!

Stopped in for some early dinner, was greeted immediately by a very friendly and nice waitress named Sophie. Quick service and delicious food, my steak was chewy and they covered the bill which was not expected. I’ll be back!!
The food was good, but we came for the cinnamon roll and it DID NOT disappoint! Best think I’ve ever eaten!!!

Wow, the dill pickle soup blew me away. I've never had anything like it and probably never will again (until I stop back in here!). And the huge cinnamon bun was amazing, by far the best I've ever tasted. 😍 The best diner around.
