Mings Garden Chinese Restaurant

My wife waited over an hour for a specific time pick up. When you have to book a time for Christmas Eve in the beginning of December you shouldn’t have to wait for new orders that were called in on the day. Ended up having to get a refund and go get pizza. Not professional at all. Won’t be going back there again. Shame as we get it every year.

Arrived two hours before closing for the buffet. Was not asked for beverage orders, made due with ice water. Not the biggest variety of food. Once our group was eating, we were repeatedly asked if we were gonna have any more of certain types of food so they didn't have to cook more.

Maybe it’s been ages since we’ve been here but what the heck has happened to this place? We went in for the buffet and promptly walked right out. It was 6 and figured everything would be fresh and well, it was not, it looked like what little bit was out had been there a while and was all shriveled and looked inedible. Coaldale definitely needs a better option for Chinese. Do better guys!

Best Chinese food in Coaldale (haha, might be the only one). They used to give out free deep fried wontons which was awesome. Wonton soup is A+

Terrible wait times. Orders are constantly late. Sometimes waiting up to 30-45 min every time.

Honestly not the best place to be at if you want to have a nice dinner, managers don't know how to train their staff so the waitresses have to deal with angry customers because of poor management. food is always a gamble if it tastes good or bad, usually bad and gross, never work or eat here if you feel like having a bad day.

Some of the worst food I have ever eaten, was sick to my stomach in four bites!!! Went in as this is an establishment that I have regularly frequented since moving up to lethbridge in 04. I had heard that there smorgasbord and service has slipped some since Covid but first time back in and giving them a shot, and I have to say I was absolutely appalled. I will not be back to support that establishment, and as sad as it is to say but if that's how employees are gonna speak to a paying customer, and a manager who is obviously there but doesn't want to do there job and speak to unhappy customers, food that is not quality controlled and bad batches happening, then maybe it would be better for the establishment to close there doors and call it, because the passion is obviously gone. EAT AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

The new help is hurting, call in a order and then have to go back as something is missing, didn't call me asking about a change on my order as I supposedly is long distance, waited till I came in so I had to wait even longer, but overall still

The food was amazing it was fresh, hot, and I could tell pride went into every dish. The building was really hot, to warm for my comfort but still tolerable. The interior design is definatly showing age but still comparable to most Chinese food restaurants but if they want to stand out in there market they definatly could renovate. The staff was very nice and really apologetic as they were busy that night and my pick up order took almost an hour longer then what they told me on the phone when ordering.
