We had Thai chicken wrap. Because they where out of turkey, carrots and chicken, so they put very little chicken in the wrap and no carrots obviously. And instead of chicken the only thing we could taste was cabbage. It costed us 36$ dollars for 2 wraps and they were so small. More or less the size of one's palm.
Environment was pretty amazing but the food experience was disappointing, at least for us.

I had an awful experience there last week. The food prep area was dirty and chaotic. The workers were not hand washing or wearing gloves while moving between the till and sandwich prep station. A customer received a wrong order and had already taken bites out of the sandwich. Instead of throwing it out, the owner (older man) brought the plate of food back into the food prep area and placed it on the counter. Absolutely disgusting. The owner was also micromanaging the young people working there, standing over their shoulder watching them work, rather then helping them fulfill the 20ish orders that were needed to be filled during the lunch rush. I waited 25 mins for a sandwich that was missing ingredients, and had a large chunk of meat inside- I am vegetarian. Will not be back until this place gets under new leadership.

Cute looking place but the older lady behind the counter was rude. Was looking at the menu and she was barking away at us “you order over there”. We weren’t even ready to order yet and I could just feel her glaring eyes staring at us before she even opened her mouth. We wound up going elsewhere.

Really good coffee shop, best in town un my opinion.
Was here over the Aug long weekend 2025 and ended up coming multiple times. Delish soup, great latte, chai tea latte and iced coffees. Wonderful service and very cozy atmosphere. You can tell the owner cares. The only suggestion I have is I didn't see any signs for the prices of their desserts in the display case and I heard a woman complain that she didn't realize what she was paying for a piece of cheesecake. Otherwise 3 thumbs up!

New to the Lakelands, arrived in Cold Lake to visit and scope out the Ironhorse Trail. Stopped at Beantrees for brunch. The cafe was quiet with 3 front staff, none of whom even acknowledged my husband and I standing at the entrance uncertain if you seat yourself or wait to be seated, since there was no signage. The staff saw us waiting and totally ignored us. After standing there for a few minutes, another patron came in and stood behind us. After being ignored for a bit longer, we left to get food elsewhere. It is posdible most of the patrons were locals, but as a tourist town, customer service is severely lacking. I will be in the area for the entire summer, and periodically over the next year. This experience certainly has tainted any further intentions of frequenting this cafe.
