North Side Pizza and Yogen Fruz

It is hands down my absolute favorite place, and we enforce to visit almost every Friday! I'd like to share why;

The donair here is, without a doubt, the best in the city—no one else even comes close. The meat is always tender and juicy, and the portion sizes are generous! For the quality and amount of food you get, the pricing is unbeatable. It's not just a meal; it’s a satisfying experience every time. My husband & I are on repeat 'Ugh, that was sooo good!' after devouring it. The sweet & garlic sauce is a delicious favourite. You'll need napkins!

While they do offer delivery, I always prefer to visit in person because the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff is exceptional. You’re always greeted with a genuine smile, and the service is incredibly efficient. They really make you feel that they take pride in what they do. Every time we visit, it’s a seamless, enjoyable experience.

Another fact that truly sets North Side Pizza and Yogen Fruz apart is that you get the best of both worlds—a delicious meal and a dessert you don't have to feel guilty about eating with their freshly made frozen yogurt. It’s the perfect combination and makes this spot stand out as a one-stop destination for great food and great service. I can’t believe there is a Yogen Fruz in Cold Lake. Such a highlight of my move up here. Very clean and kind service!

I normally love getting food here, but a couple nights ago I ordered a pizza and I almost swallowed this sticker, which made me lose my appetite. I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again because I won’t know if the food I’m eating is sanitary.

I recently visited The North side and Yogen Fruz and had an amazing experience. The pizza was delicious, with fresh ingredients and a perfectly crispy crust. Not only pizza the ice cream was very tasty. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. The atmosphere was cozy and clean. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving great pizza.

Absolute trash pizza. It’s honestly cardboard. No flavour, no toppings, no sauce. I ordered the special, large pizza, 3 toppings so I ordered extra cheese and pep and bacon, large garlic fingers that were supposed to come with 2 large donair sauce. It came with one marinara sauce. There was supposed to be 3 pop, but minimal choice in store vs what’s online. I arrived, guy brought pizza to the counter, immed answered the phone while I waited to leave and pay. Another person called and the woman who answered the phone said that they’re really busy, which they weren’t at ALL. Zero outta 10 on the taste, service, and won’t ever order pizza products from there. Unreal that places like that survive. They do have good donairs though and can’t screw up yogen fruz.

All fruits were fresh (frozen, but fresh). Loved it, it has alot of options as well. I had the mango kiwi with mango poppers and it was delicious

A donair plate... for 16 $ it's definitely too expensive for what I got. Few fries, a dry meat, a little tomato and onions. No sauce.
It was all very dry. Definitely better donair is in Mall, always delicious rice, a lot of pickled vegetables and a delicious sauce.
I hoped that this place would surprise me positively, unfortunately I was disappointed. it definitely does not resemble Turkish donair

It would be great if the yogen fruz side actually had the ingredients to make the items they advertise. 4 different times I’ve gone in to order a drink from their green menu and all 4 times they have said they don’t have the stuff to make it nor did they have other items to make some of the drinks on the regular menu. Worst yogen fruz yet. It went way down hill the minute it became half pizza shop, which is also extremely overpriced for the quality. I’ll drive the extra distance for booster juice instead. They’re better anyway. ✌?

It's like there burgers got smaller. I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same as a Wopper jr. or a JBC from Wendy's, it's a good thing it's only a $11. Add fries your in the $20 dollar range with no drink. Save your money and cook at home.
