Old style great food and large servings. If motorbikers ride through CrowsNest, the food here will last you for at least 4 hours. You will never be disappointed. If going east or west you will have enough energy to get half way through.

Asked to exclude an ingredient i am allergic to and it was still included in my meal. Very disappointing. The food itself was incredibly disappointing as well. The vegetarian omelette was greasy and overcooked. Got it replaced with a veggie burger which was completely inedible. Overall very disappointing experience, however the servers are very kind and attentive so that brings the experience up a few stars.

Chris' was highly recommended by The Kanata Hotel, and now it's highly recommended by us. Arrived for dinner without a reservation and received a warm welcome and were quickly shown to a table. We each had the best mushroom, bacon and cheese burger (and I'm not usually a big fan of burgers.) It was The Best! The price was just as amazing and truly affordable. Lenore's cheerful service attitude was so appreciated. We returned for breakfast and arrived to an empty restaurant which shocked us for a Saturday morning but within 15 minutes it was full. We were impressed again with the delicious food and wonderful service. Definitely our go to spot in Coleman hereafter.

The old town district is not what it once was. I really wasn't sure what to expect from this establishment. All I can say is, "Wow, what a hidden gem 💎 The staff are friendly and pleasant. The food and portions are like a home cooked meal. Prices are reasonable.

Best homemade food around! Call ahead and reserve to guarantee your spot as they are full all the time! We went for breakfast and ordered the everything omelette it came with homemade cubed potatoes and toast with unlimited coffee. It’s close to 5pm and we’re still full from this morning’s breakfast! Expect a little wait as it’s busy but the service is incredible for a busy spot! Next time I want to go later to try the burger as I heard that’s amazing!
