The Rum Runner was quite busy on a Wednesday evening. Food was delicious and our server did her best to keep up with the demand. We'll be coming back. Update 2025-Nov: Prices have increased substantially. Have to say the Rum Runner is still one of the best values in the Crowsnest Pass.

Perfect restaraunt except really noisy when very busy. Ember, the server took my order., paying special attention to dietary concers (wheat gluten). The buswomam was so wellcoming and promptly brought my takeout order. Compliments to the chefs! THE BEST gluten free chix strips and to die for lemon meringue (not gf, but I can cheat once in awhile) pie!! Kudos to all!

Parking lot is extremely small and people park like idiots. Menu is a bit pricey but what isnt these days. Cactus chips were good with the dip but it doesnt come with much dip. The chips have no seasoning and aren't that good on their own.
HAVE THE HADDOCK! Not oily, batter had good crunch, fish was moist and flaked nicely. As close to perfect and you can get.

We came in with a large unexpected group, we were served timely and with friendly staff. The Caesars were very generous, so were the food portions and the food was good. Had the fish and chips. Definitely recommend.

I ordered a meat lovers pizza with extra sauce. Worst pizza I have ever tasted. Looked gross, dry with no sauce or toppings on half the pizza. Very disappointed in this $35 pizza. I wish I could leave negative stars. 🤮

I've been for lunch and dinner on various weekdays and have yet to be disappointed in any way. The menu is the right size and has good options, they have a gluten wise selection, as well as smaller meals for those who aren't big eaters. The service is always fantastic.
