I visited Crossfield, AB for the first time for my son’s three‑day hockey tournament. On Friday evening, I was looking for a coffee shop and came across this store. It was open, but I hesitated to go in because I didn’t know what to expect. The store was covered with curtains, which made it look a bit eerie at night.
The next day, during daylight, I drove by again while searching for a coffee shop and noticed people going inside. My curiosity got the best of me, so I decided to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised by how cozy it is inside — truly a hidden gem in Crossfield. The donut tasted amazing, and I would definitely come back. I also love their packaging; it’s very well thought out. I even bought a keychain as a little memorabilia from my first visit to Crossfield.

I was desperate for someone to create a winter themed cake for our Christmas dinner this year, as previous years were not so successful. I posted on my community page, and was contacted by Charlotte who assured me that they could create this cake, and in the Coconut flavor that we were hoping for. It was not only gorgeous, it was so delicious and moist!! Total hit at Christmas dinner, thank you to the whole team for going above and beyond! * And a very reasonable price too!

I was desperately looking for someone to make a custom cake for a Christmas dessert this year and boy did this team come through! I posted on my Community page looking for someone who could make a winter themed cake, inspired by photos I posted, with a coconut flavored cake. The past 2 years using other bakers, we were so disappointed, we literally couldn't even eat the cakes. So when Charlotte responded to my post, I was so grateful and hopeful! And I was not disappointed! She reassured me that her team could create this for us. When I saw it, I was stunned at how gorgeous it was. Then at our family gathering, when we cut into it and served it, the comments solidified my review. Everybody raved about it! It was so moist, flavorful and it wasn't heavy! I know we will be back for treats, but they will definitely be my go-to for cakes for every occasion!

Ordered the pull-apart bread, which was listed at $6.00. The total came to $8.00. I didn’t add a tip, and with Alberta’s 5% GST it should have been about $6.30, so I’m not sure where the difference came from. Just wanted to flag it in case there’s a pricing update or something I missed.

The Donut Man is a very good and unique place for quality donuts. A wide variety of not so typical flavors which always hit the right spot. I've been pleased All my purchases so far. And the staff has always been super pleasant. Highly recommend trying them out if you're in the Crossfield area!
Amazing! I ate the breakfast sandwich right away as well as 1 donut so there’s only 5 in the picture there. Everything is so good, such a cool atmosphere too. Well worth the trip if you’re coming from out of town!
