I can't speak to the other items on the menu, but whatever you do, DO NOT order a burger at this restaurant. My wife and I, visiting from out of town, stopped in for lunch today. Both of us had burgers -- which were categorically awful. Untoasted buns. Skimpy on the fixings (lettuce, onions, etc.). And the burger patty itself tasted NOTHING like beef. Instead, think cardboard fried in grease. The fries, obviously frozen in a bag, were limp and tepid. The server (apparently the owner of the place), efficient but bitchy, didn't add to the dining experience.

I showed up half an hour early to my drs appt across the street so decided to seek out a warm beverage and relax somewhere before heading over there. I “tried” Bruce’s and was pleasantly surprised. No latte’s but she whipped me up a mocha and while I don’t usually drink this it was actually really good! I would come here and get another one in the future! She also offered me a slice of pie as I decided to stay and read my book for a little bit. I chose lemon pie - SO good. I think every elder person in Daysland showed up there while I was enjoying my visit, they were all loving their visits too. I heard a group of ladies say they went there everyday, so I think that’s telling of what a great little place it is! Thank you to the lady serving, I think I heard somebody say her name was Sue? (Do not quote me on this) for helping me get my warm beverage fix! Really appreciate you guys 👌❤️

Love the hamburgers!
You can just tell that everything is prepackaged food and cooked from frozen. If I'm paying for $18 after tax for a burger I expect fresh ingredients. Not frozen grocery store patties on a bed of canned mushrooms. The calamari was horrid. Precooked and refried from frozen. Have eaten here a few times and always disappointed by the food. The owners are nice and friendly, but for the cost? No way.
Girlfriend and I, last time we ate here, had a burger each, a side of fries and gravy each and one Caesar salad and a pair of iced teas (which is made from powdered ice tea mix) $72. If I wanted frozen subpar food I would just go to McDonald's and get 4x the amount of food for the price of a small meal here.
Something needs to change. All I got to say Can not in good conscience recommended this place. Seems more like a quiet spot for the elderly folk of the town to have morning coffee and chat.

Terrible prepackaged food, that was hardly edible. I've eaten here a number of times in the 20+ years I've lived here, not once have I had a decent meal. The price is ridiculous for the quality.

Good food. Prices okay.
Home cooked meals from scratch and owner friendly service. A hidden gem for me until now!! I’ll be back for the specialty pie after having their lemon meringue home made pie!!!
Clean and friendly staff. Food was mediocre.
