The food was good but we came here for the unique atmosphere and were not dissapointed. We also had a toddler with us and they were very accommodating, even bringing toys for her to play with while waiting for food.

We went for the Ukrainian buffet tonight and it was amazing! Well worth the drive from Red Deer. The staff are all friendly, welcoming and super kind. The food was excellent, the taste was great because of how flavourful each item was. Everything had that home made taste with a lot of love put in it. We will forsure be returning!

Great lunch here today with a friend. Fish and chips done just right. Same for the onion rings. Comfort food! Reasonable $$. Nice atmosphere with side alcoves and high ceilings and very clean restrooms. Lots of parking along the street. And a historic plaque out front about the building and its previous incarnations as a store for this little town. Would definitely come back - maybe next summer on a motorcycle ride.

We booked Olde English Restaurant for a team lunch, about 50 people while at a tournament in Delburne. They had more than enough room to accommodate everyone and the service as well as the food was excellent, everyone left very happy.
This will be a regular stop whenever we're back in the Delburne area.

We were travelling through the area and stopped in town for fuel and to find a place to eat. Found this wonderful restaurant in Google Maps. As soon as I walked in, I was blown away by the decor. The beautiful arches, the bull dog pictures everywhere, and the round table in the separate room, so great to see. The food was amazing and at a great price. The service was wonderful too. Would definitely go back the next time we're in the area.

This place is really cool, the ambiance is great, the staff is incredible and the food was quite good. The only thing I didn't love was the ventilation. There was a bit of smoke from the kitchen, and it clouded up the seating area. We smelled like the kitchen when we got home.
Service can be slow sometimes. But usually, the taste of the meal makes up for the time waiting.

Have seen the posts in Facebook so went for a drive to find this gem Cute building with rustic charm that I’m sure gets hopping has the bacon cheeseburger and hubby had liver and onions with bacon and it exceeded our expectations, heard the food was good but wow definitely coming back. Prices were very reasonable, service was good I think it was her 1st day Chatted with the owner while paying our tab and told him how impressed we were, fish and chips next time

Food was great & the service was even better. We mentioned being cold from golfing in the rain & they guided us to the table beside the heater. A few moments later we got hand warmers for everyone in the family and a cup of hot water to hold. It was a huge impact to our comfort and experience. Grateful for small town vibes. Highly recommend!

We stopped in today for lunch. The place really has the atmosphere of an English pub. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, explaining our choices. We both ordered the 2 piece fish and chips. It came quickly and was delicious! The fish pieces were large and nicely battered. The tartar sauce was homemade and had a bit of a kick. The chips were made from real potatoes and reminded me of the ones my mom used to make. It’s a bit of a drive for us, but I expect we will be back!
