Better, faster, fresher dim sum in the city. Decent portions, and very filling, but food took a long time to come out and a lot of my favorites either weren't on the menu or weren't in stock. I'd go back for the sesame balls and the deep fried bean curd shrimp rolls if I had more time in Devon.

Such a great place for take out! Delicious food and such amazing service. They go out of their way to make sure everyone is happy and even made a special order for my daughter. Great value too! The food is extremely fresh. I have had great customer service here and would highly recommend this place. I've tried every other local place with a similar style and this is far and away the best.

What an excellent meal!Ordered 6 different items from the Dim-Sum menu and they hit it out of the park on each one of them. Looking forward to going back and supporting this business. Can't believe I waited so long before trying it. Plan to wait a bit or call ahead, but good things take time and IT IS worth the wait!!!!

*****Highly recommend Satay Beef Rice triple sauce! Very good has tiny bit spice how I like it. Mango Shrimp is good also. Guacamole bubble tea tapioca with 2 orders Shrimp been curd deep fried! I love this place clean fresh and cooked good served nice and hot. *****thank you 888Don’t forget mango pudding or crème puffs

I used to say that the only thing worse than a 3rd rate Chinese restaurant was no Chinese restaurant at all. I think I need to revise this after our experienced at the 888. We ordered a dim sum special that included a main dish and two dim sum dishes, plus a won ton soup with bokchoy. It arrived....all on styrofoam and plastic (even though this was to dine in). The soup....where's the bok choy? Just a few (fairly tasteless) wontons in a very salty broth. Oh....the bok choy is in the won tons we were told (in a not particularly friendly manner) Then there was something they called lemon grass chicken. It was overcooked pieces of chicken with virtually no flavour. Certainly not a lemongrass flavour. The two DIm Sum dishes? One was three sesame balls which, while a bit greasy, weren't too bad. The other....curried squid. Yum yum one would think....until you taste the very tough squid (not a huge problem) inside a thin liquid 'sauce' of hot water and some kind of curry powder stirred in. Never again!

The food was just okay, 6 dollars a plate is a bit expensive for what you get. The steamed buns were worth going for but everything else was nothing to write home about, I think most of it was frozen. The pictures for this place look lovely, but a lot of the plates shown represent 12-18$ of dimsum selections. I'm not sure I'd go back but if I did it would be to just try the other buns

We were so excited by the reviews, so we ordered for pick up. The staff was super friendly. The food was, unfortunately, a disappointment. The rice noodles with beef and bean sprouts was good. The dim sum, not so much. None of it tasted fresh, more like it was reheated from frozen. They also don’t have proper dim sum hot sauce, which was another disappointment. Sorry to say we will not be back, and would not recommend.

This place is long overdue!! As a resident of Pigeon lake, it's not easy finding my favourite foods without having to make a day trip... until now. Finally a place I can enjoy dim sum, bubble tea and lemongrass chicken without the long trip to the city. Most definitely highly recommend trying this place out. I have nothing but great things to say about 888 Dim Sum And Noodle and its owners. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some delicious food to devour.
