Taste of China truly lives up to its name! The food is flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared, with authentic Chinese tastes that remind you of traditional home-style cooking. Every dish we tried was well-seasoned and generously portioned.
The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. It’s a great place for both a casual meal and a family gathering. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious Chinese cuisine and a satisfying dining experience.

Worst food I ever had!! 70 dollars down the drain. Had to throw it in the garbage.

We came here for dinner after spending the day at the river, and it was such a nice way to end the day. The restaurant wasn’t too busy, making it a relaxing dining experience. We were greeted by the lovely staff, Lin, who was kind, accommodating, and provided excellent customer service. We ordered the Dinner for Two, which came with spring rolls, chicken fried rice, sweet & sour pork, chow mein, and deep-fried shrimp. The portions were generous, and everything was flavorful and freshly made. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving classic Chinese comfort food at a good value.

New to Devon and such a great family spot! The staff were lovely and the restaurant was cute with a little waiting spot for pickup. Like others say, it can take a little bit to get your food, but for the amount we ordered during our moving night, I'd be surprised if it didn't take an hour! It was well worth it.
We tried: green onion cakes, pork dumplings, special fried rice, Cantonese chow mein, beef with ginger and onion, beef with mixed greens, lemon chicken, honey garlic ribs, and a pho. All were great and well above the dine and dash chain restaurants by far! Will definitely be back.
We frequently order from here. The food is always excellent. It’s our go to place in town. There is an allergy in our family to a common ingredient and they have never cross contaminated. Highly recommend.
The food is excellent and this is our “go to” spot in town.
My wife has an allergy to a common ingredient in this cuisine and they have NEVER cross contaminated.
They are always polite and we highly recommend trying it.
Fantastic restaurant with authentic, flavorful food! Every dish we tried was fresh and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend for amazing Chinese cuisine!

Great customer service and good food, will pay another visit :)
Vegetarian options: There are vegetable and noodle options that are vegan, and a few tofu options
Parking: On street parking availability depends on the tine of day and how busy busy the street is.
They have a breakout room with enough space for a party of 20.
Wheelchair accessibility: Getting through the double door vestibule is tight with an ordinary wheelchair.

Yesterday was the first time I’ve eaten at “Taste of China” in Devon Alberta. They advertised a combination special on their blackboard, that was utterly fantastic. The lemon chicken had a bit of lemon zest and sesame seeds, the chicken chow mein had both noodles and rice and all kinds of vegetables (out of this world) and the garlic ribs were fabulous as was the chicken fried rice. Service was great. I can’t wait for my next visit!

If you are going for the ginger beef the sauce recipe has change and is not good. Or the chef messed up something and they wouldn’t acknowledge it which is worse in my opinion. It’s like the sweet and sour pork red sauce. Not good.
Anyways, we always drove from Leduc to pick up in Devon. I was happy to buy here when it was good but I has gone downhill severely.

We have loved this restaurant for years! The ginger beef is usually phenomenal. Ordered again tonight and received what is definitely not ginger beef and when we called to let them know, they assured us they haven’t changed the recipe and we are mistaken. We received beef in a red sauce which tastes identical to sweet & sour sauce, however they refused to believe that’s what we got and were even mad at us for suggesting there had been a mix up. Will never come here again as we only come for the ginger beef, and will never trust that we’re going to get the great recipe we used to. Very disappointing.
