This little local restaurant is a must when visiting Drumheller. We want to give a HUGE shout out to the staff that was working last evening. IT was extremely busy with walk-ins, pick-ups and regular dine-in. The two ladies that were working the floor did an exceptional job. Courteous, patience and always smiling. The restaurant ran smoothly and all customers were happy. We will return in the near future. Thank you for the experience. TB
We visited this restaurant in July 2020 when we were in Drumheller. It is a very good family restaurant. The food was great!! We were in Drumheller this July and tried to go there for dinner but you can’t get in without reservation. So, it didn’t work out this time!!
Best baklava I had.
Had chicken donair and ceasar for drink. Great service. Donair was ok nothing crazy but the pita it was in was fantastic. Nice and crispy. Ceasar drink was fancy looking but no flavor. 6 out of 10 for the ceasar and 7 for the donair.
Amazing food amazing service. A true gem. Baklavai is to die for
The service was great, I had chicken Slovaki and it was very juicy, tender and flavorful, and the tzatziki sauce it came with was delicious. The rice and garlic bread weren't all that good to me.
This is a family run business and you can tell they really care about their business. It's rated no.1 for a reason. Go there for some really delicious traditional Greek food.
Athens had been on our "to try" list for quite a while and when we heard they were going to be closing permanently December 3 we knew we had to get in before it was too late.
Our only regret is we didn't get in sooner.
The food was phenomenal. The slow roasted lamb in the donair and Kleftiko was moist and well seasoned, the mama's salad was refreshing and had an interesting flavour portfolio, the calamari was perfectly battered and crispy without being too chewy, and the baklava were delectable and the perfect amount of sweetness to finish the meal.
Athens will be missed and I wish we'd only had more opportunities to try them beforehand.
Best wishes!
The whole family, 12 of us, went to Drumheller to visit the Dino Museum. We stayed over night and reserved a table for all of us at Athens. It was a great experience. Grandchildren Children had fun and our grown up children had fun. Highly recommend this restaurant. Great food. Great service. Great price. Thank you ?
Food here is absolutely amazing.
If you haven't tried it make it one of your places to stop.
To quote my wife "the best to tzatziki ever made"

This restaurant is definitely one of the best places to eat in Drumheller, great Greek cuisine, the staff was very friendly too. However they operate only for a few hours and request reservations, nonetheless it’s absolutely worth the effort.
Definitely one of the places to visit while in Drumheller, don’t miss the food here.
This was an amazing restaurant, the food was delicious and the servers were amazing, next time I go to drumheller I will definitely be stopping here!
Had first tried this restaurant in 2014. The food is spectacular and service was great. We try to dine here every time we are in Drumheller.
Great service and food. Best place we ate out on our trip.
Easily on of the best greek places. The chicken donair was so so so good!
