The sushi was surprisingly good! I wasn't expecting to find good sushi in a small town like Drumheller, but it was super good! The fish to rice ratio on all the rolls we had were excellent. I would order the rolls we had from favorite to least favorite as: black dragon roll, red dragon roll, king salmon roll
Would highly recommend the black dragon roll! Overall excellent place with great food, service, and atmosphere! Will definitely come back if I'm ever in Drumheller

Ok - yes I spent a lot… for just one person... I usually do something ridiculous around my birthday for myself and this year I opted to detour to Drumheller on my way to a family event. I had the lovers boat and the seafood tempura - the tempura alone would have been plenty! I ate a LOT. And had a large hot sake. The food was delicious! The service was wonderful as well! I may explode and make a mess in the conveniently attached motel… and if I do - I had a good run and tell the Travelodge people I’m sorry about the mess. If I wake up tomorrow - I’m having leftovers. Totally worth it! Who told have thought a great sushi joint would just be out there in the badlands of Alberta?

My family and I had a superb dining experience at Damoa. Excellent customer service w/ big servings for an authentic Japanese cuisine experience. We had their takoyaki, seafood tempura platter, tempura udon, chicken and pork katsu and bibimbap w/c are all delicious! Thank you so much Damoa! We'll be back for sure. : )
Dreadful service, servers were very confused about the menu, what they had, what they didn’t, and what the dishes came with. We ordered various dishes and some came with miso soup, some didn’t, we were all brought miso soup and had to remind the server that it did not come with miso soup. Very very slow to take our order, bring the food, and give us the bill when the red was not very busy. Extremely disappointing food. U got the Beef Bibimbap, but it did not come with any side dishes (kimchi etc.) and it is extra if you want it. I asked for kimchi and they had ran out. We also got the California rolls, but it did not come with any ginger or wasabi, and I wouldn’t even consider it a California roll. Overpriced and not worth it. Skip this place if you are in Drumheller.

Really good food. We had a group of 17 (!) and they fit us in immediately and our orders were taken promptly. The food came out fast as well and tasted delicious. I personally had a bulgogi meal with rice and it was awesome. Many people in our party had sushi and raved about it. Definitely recommend trying this sushi place out if you're in Drumheller!

First time at a sushi restaurant. My friend said the rolls were larger than most places and the server said that's because it's drumheller and everything is bigger, like the dinosaurs, lol. I highly recommend the Drumheller volcano roll.
