Our family dines here often. It's really nice that they have lots of non sushi options for the ones like my husband who prefer other things. And their sushi menu is great for me! When I first saw the menu I thought it was a wee bit pricy BUT it's well worth it as the portions are large and I always have leftovers to take home! The chicken Katsu is huge! And the rolls are so big I can get away with only ordering afew and am stuffed. The presentation is also beautiful and the staff is super friendly! The restaurant is also big enough for large groups which is fantastic as we are a family of eight and like to sometimes go out together.

The Local Nibbler
Damoa Sushi offers both Japanese and Korean dishes, which is a nice variety to have in one place. The portions are a bit on the smaller side, and the flavor was good overall.
What really stood out was the service — the staff was very friendly and kind, which made the experience pleasant. Great customer service goes a long way, and that’s why I’m giving 5 stars. I’ll be back!

The sushi was surprisingly good! I wasn't expecting to find good sushi in a small town like Drumheller, but it was super good! The fish to rice ratio on all the rolls we had were excellent. I would order the rolls we had from favorite to least favorite as: black dragon roll, red dragon roll, king salmon roll
Would highly recommend the black dragon roll! Overall excellent place with great food, service, and atmosphere! Will definitely come back if I'm ever in Drumheller
Ok - yes I spent a lot… for just one person... I usually do something ridiculous around my birthday for myself and this year I opted to detour to Drumheller on my way to a family event. I had the lovers boat and the seafood tempura - the tempura alone would have been plenty! I ate a LOT. And had a large hot sake. The food was delicious! The service was wonderful as well! I may explode and make a mess in the conveniently attached motel… and if I do - I had a good run and tell the Travelodge people I’m sorry about the mess. If I wake up tomorrow - I’m having leftovers. Totally worth it! Who told have thought a great sushi joint would just be out there in the badlands of Alberta?
