โฎโฎโฎโฎโฎ | For the first time on last Friday my wife and I dined in for lunch at Petu's curry-house. The kids and we have long-loved getting take-aways -- Shahi Paneer, roti, naan, Butter Chicken, Samosa Chaat, raita.... Dining in is a whole new experience: Hariyali Chicken Tikka aromatically sizzling on a bed cabbage and red onion; naan and roti so light, crisp and hot; Shahi Paneer with melt-in-your-mouth paneer; and a heavenly tamarind sauce (so fruity) on the Samosa Chaat. Genuinely delightful people. A relaxed, inviting atmosphere. It was a super date-afternoon for us.
I want to take our daughter with us over her reading week. And I understand that they will soon be serving talis too.

We were hungry and tired after a day of travel, and with only half an hour until closing the owner and staff happily greeted us and cooked us a delicious meal to go. The garlic naan, and butter chicken were both delicious! We will eat here again the next time we are back!

Their food is delicious. We tried different dishes and loved everything we ate. We had fish curry, beef dopiyaja, samosa chat, tandoori roti, lassi and masala chai. We'll definitely visit again if we stop by Drumheller.

Delicious!! My partner and I split a chicken tikka masala, a paneer do pyaza, 1 rice, 1 garlic naan, and 1 order of the gulab jamun and everything was scrumptious. Also, right about the perfect portion (though we were quite full by the end). The waitress was super friendly and was very helpful and careful to get the spice levels right haha If we weren't just passing through town I would absolutely be back!

Great food if you like Indian food. Other options too. Service was great. Modest set up but vwry dit for purpose. Surprised to get some of the best indian food I have ever had in Drumheller at Petu. Would recommend trying if you have never been.
Nice restaurant. Tried Chole Batura & Chicken Biriyani from here. Batura is superb๐The only thing I noticed is they don't serve raita or pickle with Biriyani just like all the restaurants. For me, since I don't like pickle it was totally fine but I missed my raita๐ When I came to the restaurant in the evening time, there was no one, however, after 10-15 min, it got busy... And the girl (Kiran) who served me is also really nice. Had a chitchat with her, she is very kind & pleasant. ๐

The food here was delicious, my partner had a goat curry, I had lamb methi malai. Love that they classify heat as โAsian heat vs Canadian heat.โ Atmosphere is a simple, bathrooms didnโt have paper towel which would have been appreciated. Definitely recommend if youโre in Drumheller!
