My husband and I went in for our anniversary dinner as we moved to the neighborhood a year prior and always wanted to go, we’ve had the pecan pies from there before , made to order and it was INCREDIBLE! We had burgers for dinner (one beef burger & one chicken burger) with sides of fries & gravy and we picked up some white chocolate macadamia nut cookies to go for desert. The service was wonderful and the food was amazing as well. We had a great time interacting with Fran and her son 🥰 such a lovely little place, very homey & you can tell there’s a lot of love in this place :) 10/10 would recommend! My husband and I will absolutely be returning to try some of the other menu items in the future !! Thank you Fran (and son) for your kindness and generosity on our three year wedding anniversary, we look forward to seeing you again

The name of the place made me curious. But walking inside, the temperature was easily 10° warmer inside than outside, the ceiling in one area looked like it had water damage or rotting and ready to fall in, the order when you walked in was a cross between major mildew and old food. I wanted to dine there, but just could not ... the first impression was not good.

Decided to check this place out before our hike and I’m so glad we did! We got their lunch special which was a soup and sandwich. They loaded the sandwich with ham and the hot peppers and pickles tasted amazing, it was a great combination. The soup was a beef and vegetable soup that was packed with tons of flavour and had me wanting more. We also got a macadamia cookie and a slice of apple pie with vanilla ice cream for dessert. The cookie was soft and sweet and the pie was delicious and paired well with the ice cream. The owners were kind and hospitable. Please come and support this local business, their food is definitely worth your next meal and your taste buds will thank you.

Stopped by here last summer on the way out of town. They had the BEST cheeseburger I've ever eaten, and I mean that! It was amazing! It must be a family recipe - (I'm not the type to ask a restaurant for their recipes lol) Really cute little place to stop in with the kids and eat a burger that will change your view of burgers for - well, ever, lol!

The walls were filled with photos and stuff, which would be cute if they were dusted once in a while. Fox News was blaring on the TV and there was a mouse buzzer in the corner. The lady who served us was very sweet. The cheese sticks tasted like the ones you get from the grocery store and hands were not washed before handling food. The fries were fried but somehow still soggy. They seemed to be fried in old oil. The burger came with a soggy bun and was not my favourite.

Was really hopeful for this place based on the reviews. Unfortunately would not suggest to anyone. Really really dirty, dusty old clutter everywhere, ceiling falling down, really musty smelling. I would be terrified to look in the kitchen. A man came in while there and started yelling and swearing at a staff member in the kitchen. I thought he was robbing them and we would have to make a run for it. I heard the staff apologize to him like it was a regular occurrence. My young son was terrified for the rest of the day. Would not recommend based on the health and food safety of this place, and that I don't like hearing screaming/swearing and feeling like I might get robbed while eating out with my family.
