Excellent little diner style restaurant. We went there for breakfast, 5 adults and a child. Service was top notch and the food was hot and fresh. The server ensured accuracy in our large order. I highly recommend this little place

One of the best experiences during our visit to drumheller. The service was phenomenal and the wait staff were amazing and went above and beyond for us. Plus the food is delicious and well worth the price.

Service was very quick even though we were seated outdoors with our dog and it was very busy inside the restaurant. Our server, Pretty, was very helpful and kind. Food was delicious. This was our second time eating lunch here and we'll definitely come back again.

I came last Thursday (August) on a day trip to Drumheller. I have been making this day trip every couple of years and always make it a point to stop at WHIFS. It has some unique rustic charm with the model train tracks still running throughout the restaurant ceiling. We came for lunch with our dog, and while the restaurant doesn't have a real patio or allow dogs, they do have a few picnic tables out front and were happy to take our orders outside and bring us our food out there.
The food here is traditional comfort food, with good portions. I typically come to WHIFS for breakfast or brunch and always make sure to get some of their wonderful latkes (potato pancakes). We are always full to bursting by the end of our meal.
It's conveniently located on the north dinosaur trail, so you can stop on your way to or after a visit at the Royal Tyrrell Museum.

The food was absolutely delicious! My husband and I loved the atmosphere and the little train. We plan on coming back here when we visit Drumheller again. :)

Service here was excellent. I have yet to meet friendlier staff. We were a bit disappointed in the food. The waffle was soggy, and the apple sauce on my pigs in blanket was a bit much. The item was good, but the ratios weren’t done well.

We picked this place due to the running train for our girls to enjoy. That was nice. The service was horrible from the beginning, though they do have lots of signs saying sorry short staffed please be patient. Got seated right away, but waited 15 minutes to order or get acknowledged. It took us 45 minutes to get our food. Hashbrown potatoes needed to be cooked more they were on the raw cold side, but our waiter did get us some more hashbrowns. Eggs benny was overcooked as well, and not poached soft. The Philly cheese melt. I would not recommend it was very dry and the hotdog bun that is used, you can't pick up to eat as a sandwich. My girls hated the berries on the waffles and pancakes, which is strange. I would avoid this place next time.

Brought my family hungry, left happy. Services was good, nice little diner with some character. The baby loved the train. No complaints about the food, however it wasn’t anything spectacular. We will return.

When they need to close a restaurant over the lunch hour, they should probably post it on their social media so people don't drive 2.5 hours, sit through 1/2 hour of construction with two Littles to be turned away. Disappointed.

We love this restaurant and is always a must when we visit Drumheller. Food is good, servers are friendly and helpful.
