We showed up late to the lodge after a big day of riding bikes, and they kept the kitchen open an extra half hour so we could eat.
The service was fantastic, even though we were keeping them late, the chicken wings were perfectly seasoned, and the butter chicken was absolutely delicious!

I came here for the Christmas Day buffet. The location of the restaurant is nice within the Cypress Hills. The food was quite well done for the most part. The curry squash soup was probably the most unique and flavorful thing offered. Other traditional Christmas foods were done well. Service was decent but not outstanding. I will come here again when I am visiting Elkwater, or perhaps the buffet will become a Christmas tradition as long as it is offered.

Pleasantly surprised! The place is straight utility with a bachelor basement suite vibe but the service was perfectly fine and friendly. The food is expensive but staff is hard to come by and seasonal nature of the work will certainly make this kind of business difficult and $$$. We had 3 different dishes and all were very satisfied and no complaints....
