I went here a couple of days ago for a take away ☕ and returned yesterday for breakfast with a friend. It was great food came out quickly, well presented and hot. I ordered eggs Benny, I don't like lots of sauce so asked for that on the side. No issues they were more than happy to oblige. Atmosphere was great, it was fairly busy but my friend and I could still hold a conversation without competing with noise from the other clients. Great little place, looks to be renovated from the last time I went. Before I left I ordered toast to go for my husband. Nothing too much trouble. Will be back again the next time I'm in town

We love this place; great food; great service; very friendly staff.
I loved that every table was full but it still felt quiet, spacious and comfortable. My boyfriend and I dislike crowded restaurants but it felt so good inside. The waitress and kitchen staff were helpful in customizing and eggs Benny to give my boyfriend exactly what he wanted and everything was DELICIOUS.
Also the bathrooms are completely separated from one another with totally private, closed stalls; it surprised me.
We want to become regulars here :)

We came into Eggcellent Pete’s when the place was nearly empty on a Tuesday afternoon, yet it still took 35–45 minutes for our food to come out. I ordered the Reuben, which looked amazing on the menu—thick cut meat piled high. What I got? A sad, skimpy sandwich with barely a few slivers of meat. It looked *nothing* like the picture.
When we politely pointed it out to our waitress, she was very kind and understanding. But then, out of nowhere, a rude girl from the kitchen stormed out to our table and basically told us, “That’s how we serve it, and have for 8 years. If you don’t like it, too bad.” Zero professionalism, zero care.
Even the waitress was shocked and apologized, saying the kitchen staff had no right to speak to customers like that. She was so embarrassed by her colleague’s behavior she told us we didn’t have to pay and could just leave if we wanted to. I ended up not eating anything at all after waiting nearly an hour.
I’ve never had a cook come out of the kitchen just to argue with a customer. Completely unacceptable behavior, misleading menu photos, slow service, and an overall horrible vibe. I’ll never be back.

Giving this establishment a 4.5. Gotta leave a bit of room for improvement right☺️ I love the feeling of an old diner, you already know what the coffee tastes like and the breakfasts are classic dishes. I ordered the loaded omelette with sourdough, couldn’t be happier. This place will not disappoint you for breakfast or brunch.

It's just a chill place for a decent breakfast. Not too expensive and the food is good. Nice quiet atmosphere and the staff are always pleasant. Need some new salt/pepper shakers though :)
