I only made this review because the coffee is outstanding ?. Food was plentiful and filled me up. Will come again.Edit: The toast is rye bread that is double toasted. I like it that way if you're thinking it's "burnt". Omelette was delicious. Again, the coffee is literally world class !

I enjoyed my first time breakfast here. The food is homestyle ...hashbrowns are baked potatoes chopped up ...bacon is farmer quality ...everything was fantastic… I'm a picky eater so it was a pleasant Eggs Benedict!The real jewel of EGGCELLENT P' EATS is the server CRYSTAL. She is so lovely and charming. Smile on her face as she serves you. Attentive service but not too intrusive. She makes a small community diner spot stand out with exceptional friendly service.I will come back again when I'm in Fort Saskatchewan again. I hope to see CRYSTAL here and enjoy some more good homestyle cooking.

I discovered Eggcellent P'Eats on a serendipitous whim, and I'm grateful for discovering this gem here in Fort Saskatchewan. When you're randomly craving an Eggs Benny in the afternoon, and this happens to be one of the places in town offering them - you're in luck.My verdict: A total game changer. Even the hashbrowns were made to perfection. I couldn't help but rave to the lovely waitress, Krystal, about how astounded I was by the food!I live in Edmonton, and honestly, no spots compare to Eggcellent P'Eats when it comes to a quality, classic home-style breakfast, and ofcourse, a top-notch eggs benedict. I look forward to visiting again.

I unfortunately don't agree with the hollandaise sauce reviews. I've never been a fan of cream and lemon. Hollandaise sauce has always been butter sauce to me. I love to support local only establishments. I do love a good eggs Benny, but this wasn't the one for me. I had the bacon Benny which has a tough thick cut bacon. Even with a steak Knife the bacon just crushed through the English muffin. I am also a fan of local free-range eggs. The flavor is so much better. And unfortunately their soft egg was solid in the middle. Using a cup poacher which are often hard to get a nice soft poach. And had the pan potato hash browns which were a bit dry and hard in spots. First time here so can't judge the rest of the food,
