Went in to get our grandson's birthday cake and could not decide and Anu was amazing with her help and let us try a taste to help decide. Best service by far!! Thanks Anu

I just bought the ice-cream sandwiches because there was only one staff member on, who was extremely busy. The cookies in the sandwich were old and there was barely any ice-cream. $7.99 for one sandwich and it was a waste of money. The whole point of an ice-cream sandwich is the ice-cream!

If I can rate this place with no star I would, but sadly I cant. So we went to get food to a nearby restaurant or fastfood by this place and while were waiting for the food as it was for take out, we thought we would walk over to this Marble slab place. When we walked in there, there was nobody, so we stood in this place and called and waited for someone to show up for 3 minutes and there was still nobody.

So we quickly walked back over to the restaurant to check if our food was ready and it was not so we walked back over to this Marble slab place (I know this sounds very confusing). Stood there for another 3 minutes atleast still nobody until a couple walked in the place as we were leaving to go back to the restaurant we were at to get our food.

So for the third time we got our food and thought we would walk back into Marble Slab ( yes its silly but its +30 today and something cold would be really nice) and the couple were still there waiting and in about 2 minutes this lady comes out of their backroom or whatever and helped us with our ice cream needs. And I thought after having this ice cream we would atleast feel better, but this ice cream was disgusting!!!! I ordered this supposedly rich chocolate icecream with fruits and chocolate chunks on it, and this lady gave me this weird looking almost melted looking ice cream with a couple chocolate chunks on top and drizzled it with chocolate syrup and the fruits were nowhere to be seen on this cup and I paid a little over $13!!!! Horrible horrible service. Mind you, im not talking about the company itself, but this is simply the employee’s mistake. Makes sense why its only a 3 stars location

Absolutely horrendous service. We visited during a moderately busy evening and were shocked to see only one employee working. The line moved painfully slow — we waited over 20 minutes just to place our order. When we finally got to the counter, we were told that the first three mix-ins my kids asked for weren’t available. At that point, we gave up and went to Dairy Queen instead, where we were served quickly and actually got what we wanted. For a place that specializes in mix-ins, being out of basic options is unacceptable. 0 out of 10 — we won’t be back.

Next time we come in and nobody is working, I will wait 5 min, if nobody shows up I'm taking a cake for wasting my time.

Half of the usual toppings and sauces were unavailable when I went in recently… super disappointing. Seems like they’re clearing out stock? Or not ordering supplies properly

Had a lovely ice cream date in this clean and bright facility. Delicious as always. Kind and patient staff.

Currently still in the store while my friends finish ordering. The lady working “aman” she said her name was… phenomenal employee. She’s all by herself and I don’t know if I can count the amount of people in here on my 2 hands. She’s working so hard and deserves recognition !!

Had next to zero selection. Missing about 2/3rds of the flavours they should have and the ones they did have were obviously just the unpopular flavours.

Unimpressed. I understand that the workers also work at the pita store next door, but it feels awkward as a customer to walk in and not see anyone for at least a few minutes. If I was someone with bad intentions I could easily have gotten into things before someone came.

The ice cream in the case looked melted, and honestly unappealing. The toppings choices were bleak. Most toppings that are expected at any Marble Slab weren’t there. No cookie dough, no Reese’s cups, no berries (I later found out the berries were put away, but they only had strawberry anyway). I had also asked for bubblegum pieces and was told there was none, only for me to notice them slightly tucked away a few mins later.

With the lack of toppings available, our ice creams were bland. And even the cones tasted stale, almost rancid even. They had a bitter taste.

Honestly, if I wanted to throw $20 out the window, I would have just done that. I’m all for supporting local, but it makes it hard when this is what is the quality of what is received. I will definitely be taking my business to the Clareview or Sherwood Park locations instead of here. They at least have more ice cream and better toppings.

I visited the store and unfortunately found no staff present. I waited for 10-15 minutes before calling the store while standing inside, which eventually prompted someone to come in. Additionally, the selection was disappointing, with about a third of the ice cream flavors and half of the toppings unavailable. Due to this experience, I decided to leave without making a purchase.

Went in & not one staff in sight. Called out numerous times. Finally one did come out from the back.
Asked for a waffle bowl, put it in a regular bowl. Ok.
All the ice cream looked like it was not covered overnight or for days. Barely any toppings & the ones they did have were are dried up & solidified.
What happed to this place?

Went into the store tonight around 7:20 no staff anywhere to be found, tired calling the store but phones were off the hook. I was there for about 15 minutes before an employee arrived. I also noticed while I was waiting that the keys were left in the cash register, and anyone could have taken money from it. When the staff member came in the back door, they said they are a single employee working in 2 stores and this isn't the location they normally work at. They state they were the manager, worker, and cleaner when asked to clarify. The employee has no communication skills, tried to serve crusted freeze-dried ice cream to myself, told me products were sold out but then when asked to go look in the back they magically had some. They began making the first order, but then left to find more supplies and I was served melted ice cream by the time they came back. When I expressed how unacceptable the service was, she followed me out to my car to keep explaining herself which is unacceptable and unprofessional. Will never be back.
