Marble Slab Creamery

Went into the store tonight around 7:20 no staff anywhere to be found, tired calling the store but phones were off the hook. I was there for about 15 minutes before an employee arrived. I also noticed while I was waiting that the keys were left in the cash register, and anyone could have taken money from it. When the staff member came in the back door, they said they are a single employee working in 2 stores and this isn't the location they normally work at. They state they were the manager, worker, and cleaner when asked to clarify. The employee has no communication skills, tried to serve crusted freeze-dried ice cream to myself, told me products were sold out but then when asked to go look in the back they magically had some. They began making the first order, but then left to find more supplies and I was served melted ice cream by the time they came back. When I expressed how unacceptable the service was, she followed me out to my car to keep explaining herself which is unacceptable and unprofessional. Will never be back.

Second time I have walked in there now and there’s no worker present. Stood in the store for a half hour and there was nobody there.

Went in for a sweet treat at 8:50pm and the worker said they were closing and that he already cleaned up so he couldn’t serve us. On the website and the store door it stated that they closed at 10pm. This was very upsetting. The worker then decided he would be okay with giving us the ice cream but did not want to mix in the toppings because it would dirty the area he already cleaned. He said he could place the toppings on top without mixing it in. There were also a few customers behind us who were also looking for a sweet treat. We agreed to get the ice cream with the toppings on top because we already drove out but then he didn’t want to give us some of the toppings because they were already put away. I was very upset as this ice cream is not cheap. To top off this situation, I got into my car to enjoy my ice cream and it was FREEZER BURNT! It tasted horrible and I had to throw out my $8.50 ice cream. Literal definition of throwing away money and time. I will never be returning to this location and I will be only supporting the Sherwood park location.

Sign and online says they close at 10. Go in at 8:50, no worker to be seen. Waited for someone to show up and when she does she says they close at 9 now and she can’t serve me. I show the time saying it was before 9 still and then she says they stop serving people at 8:45pm… If you stop serving people early at least make it known

This place is gross. For what you pay for, the product is just so not worth it. All of their topping choices have dwindled down to cheap garbage. The ice creams just looked weird and sickly, as if they had melted or were super old. And the person working there was running between this place and the business next door, serving people at both. It was awful.

When we came in there was no staff in the store . Waited five minutes. My kids were of course excited, and the Miss there seemed overwhelmed/annoyed . Very expensive, over $27 for two small ice creams and a cone. My kids didn’t get full servings and limited toppings that they asked for, you think they would have gotten full cups for that price . The gummy’s were stale . My daughter said her icecream tasted old. And was sad her treat was no good. We unfortunately won’t be coming again.

We came into the creamery to get ice cream obviously and to use the rest room since we’re not from here. we stood at the front without anyone coming to help for over 10 minutes, so we used the bathroom and left. ( still without seeing anyone that works in the store). The employee that was in the store then comes out and knocks on my car window accusing me from stealing from the store, and kept insisting for ID. I don’t normally write reviews but this was just insane.

Anu Sharma was amazing ( Hope i spelled that right...). Had a custom cake ready in 24hrs for my Girlfriend, and she managed to squeeze a ridiculously long m3ssage into said small cake. Lots of care and attention, and really made.me feel like my order mattered. Great Job! Would recommend!
