No Italians or Italian food here. The food is not good and the restaurant is dirty. I don’t recommend this restaurant.

Wow hubby and I just went with our friends to Modo Mio Italian Restaurant in Fort Saskatchewan. It was excellent!! We had the special which was a starter of our choice a pasta and dessert for $38. It was a LOT of food but soooooo good! Hubby had a pasta combo with Lasagna, manicotti and another pasta, and I had Shrimp and Scallops in a white wine alfredo sauce, baked! We had greek salad and bacon wrapped scallops to start and both had different cheesecakes for dessert. You can take the cheesecake home 😉 for later! Exceptional food and even better service. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!

This place is really nice and quiet. Spaghetti with meatballs and Modo Mio Spaghetti tomato sauce was delicious. Home bread is very appetizing . I definitely recommend this place .

I don’t normally leave reviews however, my experience at Modo Mio was absolutely terrible. Our order was simple…3 lobster ravioli and 1 pork ribs with bruschetta bread as a starter. After what seemed to be forever, our starter arrived at our table and was excellent as always and within about 3 minutes after we finished (excellent timing btw) the server brought out 3 lobster ravioli, which again, were awesome as always however my wife’s pork ribs did t come at the same time. My wife’s pork jokingly said “I hope my food arrives before you guys are done”. When we were about half way done, the server came to our table and quickly advised her that her ribs were coming soon. Well, they never came! We all finished our meals (my parents are in their 80’s so it’s not like they gobbled it down) and I got up and when to the counter and told the server to cancel the ribs. She apologized and asked if there was anything else she would like and I said “no, I just want out”. Serving a table together is the most basic rule in the restaurant business. I felt horrible for my wife just sitting and waiting. There was not even an offer of a discount t for the meals. The food was as good as it always is but the dark error I. The service has taught my opinion of this restaurant. DO BETTER!

This place has absolutely incredible food! The bread was fresh, the pasta was hot and delicious. The service leads a bit to be desired, and the restaurant is quite dated. But overall my spouse and I had an incredible experience here tonight. Would highly recommend trying the Chicken Con Funghi.
