I can't get enough of this place. I've been eating phơ since the 90s and some places disappoint but this place is great all around. I will be back for sure

love the soup here ?
We ordered Pho Hoan off Skip the dishes at around 11am. The website said it was open, but when we put in the order, we waited a good ten minutes for the order to even be accepted by the staff at the restaurant before it was canceled without any apparent reason. We tried putting it through again, and this time we waited even longer for the order to be accepted by the staff. We had spent 50 dollars on the order and did not even have the option to cancel the order as we were waiting, so I called the restaurant. It went immediately to voice-mail, and I called again because we wanted our money back, and it went to voice-mail again. After waiting something like 10, fifteen mins the SECOND TIME, the order was finally declined and we could order from Ricky's instead. Thanks Pho Hoan, 0 stars.
A very nice place, great food, good service, surprising prices and large portions. Definitely worth of coming!

Don’t be cheap. Your pho is good but charging like 4$ extra for 1 single meatball is outrageous after you spend 18$ on the meal.
Still as good as ever!!! September 13,2024.
The best soup broth I have ever had!! And the service is always great!!! If you haven't been here and like Pho you need to go here if you haven't yet!!
The pork in the vermicelli bowl was mainly fat and gristle - and the dish had something that looked suspiciously like tripe (even though it wasn't in the description). The best parts of the lunch were the spring rolls and bubble tea.

Theft. Been going to Pho Hoan Pasteur in Edmonton and the Fort for over a decade now. Looks like they deleted this review so I will find another way, because we are all tired of theft - to hold them accountable. I will keep ordering, and will take pictures to post. I will acquire a mass of evidence first and then make sure my post follows all of Googles criteria to ensure the post is NOT removed or hidden. Either they stop doing it, or there will be evidence posted.
Over the last year or so noticed the take away Large Beef pho would sometimes have very little beef, so I started to weigh it as it seemed inconsistent. Sometimes 125 grams and sometimes 85 to 90 grams. I could let that go once or twice, but it happens all the time now. The Edmonton locations are always, consistently, around 125 grams for a large beef pho. This week’s order was the final straw with 75 grams of beef and very little noodles (which have also been getting smaller and smaller).
Sure feels like theft. I work hard for my money and this soup is by no means cheap. To have the meat reduced this much, and especially when compared to sister locations, amounts to theft. I am paying for a product, a Large beef pho, and I am not getting it. It is a slap in the face to hard working loyal customers.
The half rotten basil they put in the take away bag, with half a normal serving of bean sprouts was just adding insult to injury. I did not pay for half rotten basil. I expected that I was paying for fresh basil, a large order of beef, noodles, and sprouts. This amounts to theft as there is an explicit expectation of what the product purchased should be and that is not being delivered. Once in a blue moon, fine. All the time - theft. If we pay for a large, then we should be getting a large, not a small or extra small. Recommend start asking them how much meat by gram comes with a large pho, hold them accountable.

I’ve had lunch and dinner several times here and food is always great. Friday we came for dinner and our server Jenelle was one of the best servers we’ve had in a long time. She was just a breath of fresh air!

Food was decent. Pretty good amount. They need more servers. Seems too busy for only one server.

Absolutely love this place, we always get it for work on night shifts. The only reason they’re getting 4 stars is they tend to forget a bag of the bean sprouts for the takeout orders, here and there. It’s happened a few times. However tonight all of our bean sprouts/lemon/thai basil was forgotten. We drive from out of town and don’t have time to drive back before they close. Pretty disappointed tonight. Food was good though. I know there’s some new workers there now, so just a little feedback for next time.
