I am blown away every time by the owners memory. Lol. The guy is really on the ball. I believe he introduced himself as Al. I love their pizza. It is so amazing that I just can't get enough of it. Their spaghetti and meatballs is perfection. They put a little more sauce than most restaurants do so the noodles never dry up. Al, if you see this, I'm ordering from you tonight! It's Ed with the 4 garlic toast! Thank you for feeding me so well the past few months while I was in the fort!

Edit: after leaving 5 star I had to go back and change it today.
I got a donair which was great and the same pizzas I got last time but there is a funk to the pizza and I think the pizza dough is the cause. I think it has gone bad or something? Anyways the pizza is horrible and 3 people tried it none of us can even eat it. Keep in mind this is the same meat lovers and cheese pizzas I had a week ago and was telling people to go to sky high over Perry's and the other spots. Honestly it's really gross it's all going in the garbage and I'm sure other people today had the same experience because the pizza was cooked normally. Too bad, won't be going back.

However the donair was good for a pizza joint.

This is the best donair I've had so far and I have tried many places in Edmonton and surrounding area. Perfectly sauced with well spiced meat and consistent bites with the tight wrapping of the donair. Makes for an easy eating.

Absolutely wonderful food. What I love about their donairs is the onions are fresh and crispy every time. The lettuce is crunchy. You can ACTUALLY taste the cheese. The meat is plentiful. Incredible spices to the meat and flawless texture. Their wedges are terrific as well. Great tsaziki sauce. I love their food. 5/5 ?

Wow! Best taste, portion and price I’ve had all summer. I have had a donair a week while traveling the Edmonton and surrounding area and this is by far the best donair I’ve had. $12.99 for a donair, fries and drink is an amazing deal.

Cafeteria grade pizza.. Is it cooked from frozen? Over priced for the sizes offered.. No flavour to the crust, skimpy cheese and bland sauce.. Would not recommend and definitely won't be going back..

Ok look. This place is the real deal. Don’t be deterred by the person who complained about fried fish. I don’t expect a Donair shop to make fresh fried fish. That’s what Brit’s is for. It’s a Donair shop, and they kill it. If you want a Donair, this is where you go if you don’t want a sloppy mess that’s too much of one thing. This Donair is balanced. If I went to a vending machine that offered pre made food items to the exacting specifications of the item being ordered, this Donair would be the textbook Donair that would fall out of the machine.

Further, there is no place providing the value that Sky Hy does. I don’t believe there is any place that does as good of a job. If there is, I want to know because I’ll believe it when I see it.
