Lots of options on the menu. Many types of eggs benny. Daily specials.
Food was done well. It’s what you would expect from a small town breakfast spot. Not exceptional or necessarily memorable. But there is homemade toast. It is a step above smittys. Similar to a grainfeilds quality.
Coffee was pretty good!
I didn’t get any pictures but the portions were large for the price you pay!
Vegetarian options: Few options but there was fruit.
Dietary restrictions: Yep gluten free, dairy free options available
Parking: Restaurant is dated it’s like walking back to the 80s stained glass murals included but very clean.
Kid-friendliness: Yep there are booths and pancakes and French toast.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yep it’s just off the inn.

Your litterally throwing your money away... service is mind blowingly bad... absolutely no service i.q. or any clue on what it takes to be good at your job... I use to be in industry for a long time... little things like.. when people order water with their meal just get it out before anything else comes up .. don't ring in a big top never once do a qualify check on the cook of the steak... never let the person who almost choked have water that he asked for ... the steak was chewy and way over cooked but she wouldn't know because the only time we chatted after was about 20 minutes after the plate was cleared ...like do u not think if u actually serve well maybe make more tips???? Like where's ur drive to be good at all. Anyways 70$ blown ....

EDIT - ******
the owner doubled down and backed the bartender that was super rude to us. She barred us.
Tops was great atmosphere and there weren’t any weird unspoken rules about moving tables *******
I’m appalled at the way we were treated tonight. In town for the night, brought myself and 4 of my friends for supper and drinks . We sat at the bar at first waiting for a table. We ate before one became available, but we moved with our leftovers and drinks.
Knowing they’re busy, we were. Getting quite thirsty and they were ignoring us. I went to the bar and politely asked for a round. She very very rudely said she won’t give us anything until we square up because how dare we move to a table when it’s a group of 5 yelling down the bar at each other instead of a table. They could have just told us, or there has to be a better way to treat people spending their hard earned money.

Great food! Good service and reasonably priced. It could use some updates. However, who doesn't love the nostalgia of an old-school diner with amazing food and people

The food is usually pretty good. But why are most of the waitresses so damn miserable, ignorant and rude all the time!?.
Almost every time I call and/or dine in the waitress is very rude.
The only waitress that is nice and professional is the Ukrainian girl.
Staff needs to work on being more polite to there paying customers. A polite waitress being professional will get higher tips just saying.

Ernie's is a working man's restaurant with lots of truckers and the decor is dated and run down. But the food was great and the over worked server was very nice. Serving were large, salads were fresh, and prices were good. Will stop in again if I am ever in the area again.
