The front desk person was very friendly and helpful and carried my case to the room. The room itself was large and cool. It had good seating areas and comfy beds. The bathroom was ok, but a little tired and in need of updating in some areas. Not the hotels fault, but the oil rig/industry etc worker's upstairs were exceptionally noisy in the morning, waking me up at 5.30 am and stomping around until they left at around 6.30. They even had their trucks running for ages despite it being exceptionally warm weather. Next time, I would book an upstairs room. Overall, I would recommend it, and the hotel staff were great.

A standard motel. Great view of the mountains . Nice front desk staff who seems to do everything open to close.

The owners are very friendly and accommodating. They are upgrading the rooms as I was there, but some of the furniture in the room is starting to show it's age. The exterior of the hotel was recently painted and I saw them doing lots of gardening, so I bet this hotel will be the nicest in Grande Cache in no time!

Definitely a working-person's motel. Despite things being fairly dated it is clean and tidy. My room was very spacious and comfortable, though definitely not the honeymoon suite! The front desk staff were very pleasant and welcoming, and the price was excellent.

Great hotel... might be a little dated, but the prices were right. The room was comfortable, and instantly had hot water! I had three days and two nights for under $200!You can't find a room in Jasper or Banff anywhere near that price.

This was the worst hotel/motel I have stayed in. When we checked in the clerk that checked is in was so rude. I informed him that our room had a couch and he said no. I said that was what we had on booking. He said never use them call motel instead. He was not nice. Thank god we only use the motel for a place to rest our head and that's it. He even yelled at my kids saying they were too loud, he was at the front desk, I was in the room and did not hear my children. Bad experience all around. One good thing as he did lend us an extension cord.

The room and beds were comfortable. The place is older, but for a two star hotel, it more than met my expectations. The room was only $89.00 plus tax for the night, and it was Canada Day weekend when every other hotel is gouging you.I think there was some mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, but it is far from enough to hurt anyone, in my opinion.Rooms: The mold in the bathroom could become a problem if left much longer.

Not exactly a "5 star hotel" but a 5 star business owner! My family and I evacuated to Grande Cache for a few days while the yellowhead fires went on, and the owner was nothing but hard working, accommodating, and a warm soul. Like just about anywhere in Grande Cache, the view out your window and front door is absolutely breathtaking!
