Centrally located diner attached to the Grande Cache hotel. The food was decent, but the serving sizes were small, considering the price. Most breakfast items were in the $18-20 range except for the basic plates, like breakfast sandwich and early riser special. Even looking at the other tables around, I noticed that it wasn't just us, but all the plates coming out of the kitchen were skimpy. I got the breakfast poutine. It wasn't bad but a bit too soggy and heavy with the hollandaise and melted cheese.

Food was great. Server was a doll. Prices fair. The fries are really good. Remind me of Montreal style fries. Fabulous small town family restaurant. 10/10.

Kid-friendliness: They let the kids choose a colouring page AND gave the kids a Kinder egg after the meal! Totally fab!

We are in GC from NB visiting our daughter for the first time. We decided to go to this restaurant for our Sunday supper. OMG if you are debating going GO GO GO. Best haddock !! Literally cooked to perfection. The guys had beef dip. Also amazing. For appetizer we had the artichoke cheese dip. Cheesy and tasty. Caesar salad has real bacon real cheese. Overall outstanding and very comparable to a high end restaurant In QC NB PEI NS & ON Decor is dated but it’s a true. Don’t judge a book by its cover hidden gem ?

Had been here several times in the past and was very disappointed. This visit was excellent! The food was good and the service excellent. The hotel is older and the restaurant hasn't changed much over the years. I would definitely go bqcj!

Definatly dated, kinda reminded me of a late 80s early 90s vibe. Food was home cooking with good flavor. Price was good. Coffee not great but it was a great place for a good price

This was my second time to ear here and the food is so good. I love their fries. All the staff I have spoken have been very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. A beautiful mountain view as you eat as well. Highly recommend.

I ordered a build your own omelet i didnt get it for a hour and when i recieved it it was all cold ,bacon bland and hash browns over cooked ,and expencive ,not the best experiences i think the cook eather is getting rusty or lied on his resume.

Good service, ceasar salad with spinach instead of romaine was great!
