Great little spot

A major let down compared to other locations.

Stopped in to have lunch expected to have the same quality as other Locations. Definitely didn’t make the mark- worst chili ever and the other choices, pulled pork, warm, potato salad, zucchini- not good. Do better, Hanna.

What can one say about really the only grocery store in Hanna? For a small town store it's ok. Don't love the bakery. They make those parfait desert things but stopped using real whipped cream, now they taste disgusting. Bread is way over priced. Produce is hit and miss for both quality and price. Meat prices are ok, if it's on sale. Pork chops are usually a good deal and they are thick. Flats of eggs are not a bad price. Dairy prices are outrageous, but hey, small town living right? I shouldn't complain, at least there is a store. Most of the staff are very friendly.

Price gouging is insane, not only they participate in an oligopoly but locals don’t get a discount. This business is an equivalent to cancer to this community’s economy. Greedy and corrupt to the core behind its facade. No excuse taking unfair advantage of a rural town with no other choice for essential needs. Just discussing. Also wanted to add that inflation only applies to products and not wages for those who work here as I was told many people who work here don’t get paid their works worth even after being with them for years. I didn’t think it’d get this low.

In Hanna, Prices are outrageous and the sales they have are equal to other stores everyday prices, in Drumheller, Brooks, Stettler, yes those places are a long ways away and you wouldn't drive there for 1 or 2 items and they know that so they gauge people on the prices. one example is old dutch potato chips @ 5.49$ pr bag.
Walmart sells for 3.00$ just one example, so if you do 2 weeks shopping for food its worth the drive, even with the extra gas.
I am a senior and I shop and stock once a month and I save well over 300$ and only use about 50$ in gas. they say buy local but with the cost of things its just not worth it!

Clean, well stocked store. Some of the employees are very friendly, and helpful, others you can't get a smile or a have a nice day out of them. As a former CSR trainer and Supervisor, that would not be acceptable in my experience. If it were a one off, I would say they were just having a bad day, but I have been multiple times now and there is no change in behaviour/attitude from those same employees. The store overall has higher prices than I am used to, so you definitely hit the sales there, but overall, not a bad store for a small town.
