We were camping at Hardisty Lake Campground on the Thursday before Rodeo weekend and decided to visit The Leaf for supper and a cold beer. We arrived about 6PM, it was reasonably busy on the bar side - didn't look in the restaurant side. There was a person tending the bar when we arrived, but she left shortly after. That left just two servers to cover the bar side table service, one person covering the restaurant and one of the two bar side people doubling up as the bar tender....
I can see why the locals like this place. As I work at all the hospitals northern alberta. While I was doing job in Hardisty. I asked a couple lady's where good to go. They mentioned The Leaf. Glad I tried it, the burger and fries were great. I'd say an empty plate bake is good.
As always ...the food was Excellent and the staff are very accommodating as well as great humored and hott as hel lo !! X0 thanks again girls ... everyone was satisfied in this household !
