Great little pub in a super small town. We showed up right before closing, we rolled in late from a minor hockey game and needed food. They still cooked us food and served us a couple drinks, they could of easily sent us on our way with nothing. Very friendly and food was tasty.
It's Alright on the Food as there's more than one cook,that being said I've gone when the food has been better than some days but over all the Food is at best average for a local restaurant and pub combo...Their waitress,s most are Freindly and service is prompt. Than like any where some waitresses. I feel would rather be some where else and are select on whom they prefer over others. We were camping at Hardisty Lake Campground on the Thursday before Rodeo weekend and decided to visit The Leaf for supper and a cold beer. We arrived about 6PM, it was reasonably busy on the bar side - didn't look in the restaurant side. There was a person tending the bar when we arrived, but she left shortly after. That left just two servers to cover the bar side table service, one person covering the restaurant and one of the two bar side people doubling up as the bar tender....
