Friendly and great service
Pretty sad when you order and pay for food and they forget some of the order and don't answer the phone when called to say things have been forgotten
After traveling for days in our over-packed little car, Boondocks Grill was the perfect place to decompress. The service was very friendly, every table was welcoming and the food was cooked to perfection. The bill surprised us to be a lot less than we expected too. Thank you for a great meal and a chance to unwind for a while.
I like the steak My Mom like the soup after all a good Restaurant
Very good soup, excellent fries and a very tasty pizza calzon. But the mens bathroom is pretty disgusting, strong smell of urine and shoes stick to the floor.
New to the area. Great food, cozy atmosphere. Love the burritos and wraps. Salads are fresh and poutine is delicious!

I almost didn’t come because of all the bad steak reviews. Not a lot to choose from in this town. However, the steak and mash potatoes were decent from a diner standpoint. Was cooked how I asked, food was quick, but the service was the best part. Senora (sorry if I spelt it wrong) was smiling and receptive to everyone! I sat and worked on my computer for a couple hours and she was great. I would give it a higher rating if the food had any flavor at all. But portion, price, and service was there. Just work on the flavor and cook 😆 thank you!

This is a diner, all meals including appetizers on average are $15.00 + I ordered the 7oz steak with Spaghetti. The spaghetti sauce tasted like it was from a can. The waitress replaced it with fires and gravy . The ketchup in the plastic container was old , the salt in the salt shaker was more rice than salt. Sometimes it’s the little things. I ate well, was full, and my steak dinner was under $30.00 with a tip.

Highly recommended... Family Friendly!!
Our family of 4 stopped in for lunch on our way East and we were pleasantly surprised by our meal! We were looking for something that would fill our stomachs and not drain our pockets. This restaurant did just that!
Our kids ordered the Kiddie Burger and they were comparable in size to my husband's Bacon Mozza Burger! The fries were thick, home fries style, deep fried but not greasy. I had a Greek Salad with grilled chicken and it was one of the best I've had in a long time. The portion to price ratio was fantastic!
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the minimal Gluten Free options. That being said, they do have their GF options marked in the menu, there is a GF pizza option that the waitress mentioned when I asked, that wasn't in the menu. They're definitely trying with is so appreciated.
The time it tool from ordering to table was under 20mins, which is pretty good for 4 meals.
If you're looking for a quick bite that won't require a loan this is the stop to make in High Prairie!!
Thank you for such a pleasant dining experience!
Dietary restrictions: They have minimal GF options but they are marked in the menu.
Parking: There is a parking to the east of the building and some along the street. Then there is parking in the lot across the street at IGA if closer options are full.
Kid-friendliness: They had a decent selection for a kids menu - from Fish n Chip, Burger, Chicken nuggets or Strips, Pizza etc. They didn't offer any colouring/activity sheets or crayons for kids, but we didn't ask. That being said our wait didn't warrant any as it was SO quick.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp going to the entrance. There is a second door going in to washroom which could make accessibility a challenge.
