Food was good for sandwiches and soup, milkshakes were fantastic. However, more teamwork and organization is required among the staff. We were not asked how everything was or if we needed anything else, dishes were not cleared, we had to prompt a staff member for us to order dessert after having finished our food 20 minutes ago, and 20 minutes after that it still had not arrived, and when we went to the counter to ask to cancel dessert and have our bill, it appeared that it had been forgotten. It is worth noting that we came in the first open day of the new year but I can only describe how things were being run on this day as chaos.

We love this place and come here any time we visit the area. The food is excellent, my favorite sandwich is The Bird. The chicken is so good but you can’t go wrong with any of the choices. Baked items are delicious, I had the strawberry rhubarb pie one year and it was the best.

I brought my boyfriend to Memory Lane for lunch today. He really enjoyed the atmosphere and the diner style that you don’t see anywhere anymore. The waitress and the owner, Dave, also turned the train on for us to see it travel around the diner!
My boyfriend had the All or Nothing with chicken noodle soup and I had the Rueben with cauliflower soup and we really enjoyed them both! Our waitress was prompt and friendly as well.
We highly recommend stopping in for some lunch and their homemade ice cream!

My experience yesterday was not good. The Bhuda bowl was made with cold tortellini,!!! ( gross) tomatoes, cucumber. No dressing. Suppose to be pesto , but i couldnt taste it. The service was not good. I asked a waitress if avacado was included in my salad.She said she didnt know and walked away..to my surprise. We have enjoyed this restaurant for many years. Sad to say it is not what it used to be.

October, 2025 - This used to be my favourite place for lunch or brunch. I enjoy their specials of the day. I have worked in the industry for years and know good service to servers that have not been properly trained. That is what has happened here. Inexperienced staff. Orders were wrong or mixed up. Service was friendly but incredibly slow. They are really tight with giving out cutlery. If they think all you need to eat a quiche is with a fork, that's all you get. I asked for a knife too. The industry has gotten lazy by not doing cutlery roll ups. I remember doing hundreds of these over the years so you can grab and go to the customer. Food is still delicious but a bowl of chicken soup took 45 minutes to arrive. 2023 - DELICIOUS! Excellent customer service by Daley. Try the quiches!! ... and dessert!!
