You Gotta Eat Here had it on the television show. We went and were not disappointed. We do not live in High River but have been there several times. Never been disappointed. I recommend the chicken sandwich. 😋😋

The food used to be good here, but last experience about a week ago was very disappointing. Soup was extremely greasy, only white bread option was a croissant which was over toasted and completely crumbled. Sandwiches were mediocre. No gluten free bread or desserts. Extremely expensive . For four of us and three of us had water only for drinks, the bill was over $100.

This is my first visit and it is a great place with delicious food! I thought the prices were high until I saw the size of the sandwich I ordered, it was HUGE! Then I had their homemade ice cream for dessert, my lips are blue and my heart is happy. I should mention I had the bubblegum ice cream!

I use to absolutely love this place however, I took my boyfriend here a few months back to show him this great place. We ended up waiting 30 minutes for our order to be taken, another 30 for food and had empty glasses of water the entire time. I tried to give this place another shot this week and the same thing AGAIN. This time I even tried to order a coffee to sidetrack me while I waited for my meal just incase. Turns out I had to wait 20 minutes for a cup of black coffee. It's super unfortunate because I love this place, the food is great and I love supporting local but I also don't have 2 hours to have lunch. I think with the right staff, this place could be great again. Or perhaps better training and an employee standard of what's expected. I will continue to support you guys but please get better staff or train them for hospitality better!

Very cute place, they were almost closed and turned the train on for the kids. She even gave us extra cupcakes as they were closing! Great FRESH food, rhubarb and beet salad, the croissant sandwiches are good too. We sat outside and it's a quiet street and the autumn leaves are perfect and I pretended I was indeed on a holiday. Kid approved chicken noodle soup and croissants.

Kid-friendliness: The train is really cute, all our kids loved it.

Unfortunately our experience wasn't what we expected, we were taking out a sandwich, the lady at the front wiped her nose bare hands, and then she started preparing my sandwich, I then asked if whe wasn't going to use any gloves at all, she responded that her hands were already clean... not the response expected as a customer paying for food and a service.

This place has the old 60s look, and the food is very fresh and good. Very health food after a good Harley ride. For a lunch a perfect out of the way place to eat. Even good for kids also.

Found this little gem of a restaurant in High River. Love the decor, including the model train that runs around it and the paintings from each province. The food was very good. The staff was very friendly.

Evelyn’s has been a staple lunch spot for decades for me and the work crew. Although it’s changed hands a couple times over the years, they still serve fresh healthy filling lunches quickly and for a reasonable price. Milkshakes are second level. Bring home a loa fof bread too.

I like the vintage vibe of the restaurant. My friends and I went for lunch and I ordered the bird. It was an all time favourite. Definitely worth every penny.
