Food was meh. However, they made me pay for a food order item that was wrong. Said they already made it and nothing can be done about it. I was in a rush, and did not have time to deal with it. I asked the server which one is the wrong item, and to return it. I did not want anything for free, especially below average tasting food. Please tell the story truthfully. Tried chole bhature and chai. Both were disappointing. Instead of chole we got watered down chana masala. Chai was milky. We had ordered poori as well which was fried to a crisp...almost became a papad. Won't recommend.

We recently moved to High River from Calgary where there is lots of choice for Curry. Figured we would try Indian Bites as the reviews were decent and we wanted a warm meal on a cold rainy day. The service was prompt, the staff friendly, and the restaurant appeared clean and well maintained. We ordered Takeout of the Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Korma, Tarka Daal, Vegetable Pakora, Garlic Naan, and Saffron Rice, and the Cucumber Raita.
The standouts were the Tikka Masala, Saffron Rice, Pakora and Naan. They were flavourful and the portions were good, the Tikka Masala appeared a bit runny at first but once mixed was fairly thick.
Unfortunately the same could not be said for the Daal, the Korma, and the Raita. All three were extremely runny and watered down. The Raita did not have a single piece of Cucumber in it and was basically white water, the Korma was mostly little bits of shredded chicken, and the Daal, which is usually my wife's favourite, was just watery lentils with no flavour.
It seems from some of the other reviews that there may be a consistency issue going on at the restaurant, and I hope that they can get it sorted for the next time we decide to order as parts of our meal were really nice.

Ordered takeout through door dash, so cant comment on service/atmosphere of the restaurant. But the food was spectacular! Ordered the garlic naan, lamb curry, rice and meat platter. Meat platter was awesome of so many varieties for me and my kids so many bites to try. The basic curry, not vindaloo or butter chicken, while spiced not outrageous when served with just a little rice. I have been smashing it with the naan since my kids went to bed! That naan is outrageously good! Will be back just for that!

Very disappointed with the quality of the food that was ordered. I've come here many times over the last few years but since new ownership food quality and portions have been declining. Just collected food to take home and upon opening the food, the portion sizes were very small. Not only that the appetizers that were ordered were not fresh at all. I suspect that these were left over from the hot plate (buffet) and just reheated. Two appetizers box's (both $15-$17) and not worth the value. Very disappointed. Will be taking my business somewhere else.

First time eating at Indian bites restaurant. So glad I did had the goat Rosh jorgen, ( I know I probably messed that up) with saffron rice. Medium spice absolutely fantastic meal. Will bring my friends back to try. Only wish the had some more combo meals rather than ordering each item. Was still worth it though. My server was kind and polite and enjoyed conversing with her because no one else was there.

This used to be one of our go-to spots to eat when we didn't want to cook, but sadly like many others have stated, the quality of food has drastically declined. We thought maybe it was a 1-off, so we tried again tonight and am disappointed again.
I've seen others complain that the butter chicken went from full of flavor, to bland and very watered down. This is exactly what we've seen. I've also seen the owner comment that they are trying new recipes; I think its safe to say...please bring the old recipe back!
The coconut rice and Naan are still good, but the portion of rice has gotten much smaller. I think this could easily be overlooked if the quality of the main meal (butter chicken) was still up to par. But $20/person is a little hard to swallow with this decline in quality....
Food was amazing I am so full. Glad the buffet is back. Thank you for the great date night.

She did an awesome job and was one of the nicest servers we have had; 10/10 The food was wonderful, each dish was bursting with flavour, if you are a fan of goat I'd recommend the Goat Korma
