Let me start on the positive and say that the food here is amazing. The best restaurant in High River, food wise. The service is friendly, but unfortunately so very slow and unreliable. When I order pick up and am told 30 minutes (for example) I will get there and wait an additional 15 minutes. This happens every time. Tonight, I was told 1 hour 15 for p/u or 1 hour and 30 for delivery. It was my choice to wait that long, and knowing they are usually 15 minutes late, I still ordered. I called at an hour 40 and they were just starting my food and hoped the driver would be back by the time it was finished. I waited over 2 hours. So, if you want amazing food order from here, but make sure you don't have anywhere to be and snacks while waiting.

We all enjoyed our lunches. One of the best ginger beef I've had in a long time. Nice spice to it. Rice and vegetables, spring rolls also very tasty. Friendly service and very cheerful. For a small town restaurant excellent. Will go back again.

Have been ordering from here for 2 years. Today is Tuesday and they are closed. The family came from Calgary and we had to order from another place. WE were all disappointed as the New Golden National is the BEST and prices are resonable as well.

I wouldn't know this experience is frustrating. Trying to order online didn't work tried for two days. I then tried to make multiple phone calls. This place really does seem to struggle with meeting demands for answering the phone. It happens frequently to me. It would be helpful to have a message on the phone to mention if they are closed. Same goes with the website.
