High River Donair and Pizza

One Monday evening I drove into town to get pizza from our favourite place but forgot it closed on Mondays. I went to High River Donair & Pizza, for the first time. I needed four pizzas. They were all so good. (My new favourite is the donair pizza). Freshly made crust, fresh and tasty ingredients, lots of topping, cooked perfectly (I like crunchy cheese bits). The price was great. The staff were all friendly and wasted no time starting my order. We went there again last night to eat-in. What a busy place! Take-out was not just pizza. We will definitely be trying other menu items.

The jumbo donair is the largest I have ever seen. Staff was great and the taste was above average. This is possibly the best donair south of Airdrie in Alberta. You will not be disappointed at the quality. It should rate 6 out of 5.

We came here after finding out our first choice was going to be a couple of hours waiting without a reservation. We were definitely not disappointed! The gentleman who took our order at the front was so friendly and kind. The food was served pretty quickly, and it tasted delicious! While there weren't any others eating in, like us, the restaurant was still hopping. People were constantly in and out for pick-up orders. We really recommend this restaurant!

I love the one in okotoks and this place is easily compareable, but the donair i got yesterday was the worst of my life. The Donair its self was torn in several places and just oozing with soup like sweet sauce that covered my entire plate. It was soggy and had very little olives and only four slices of jalapenos. I threw half of it away as it was just falling apart in my hands. Not sure what happened here But rap that thing tight and maybe dont be soo heavy handed with the sweet sauce as it destroys the integrity of the wrap.

3 stars for friendly service over the phone and a polite delivery driver. Also the fries are fire!
