Edoyaki Sushi High River

AMAZING food, especially for the price. The sushi always tastes excellent. No overwhelming sauces, always fresh ingredients. Food is always made quickly too. I agree with another reviewer, this place is a hidden gem.

HIDDEN GEM? Wonderful food, great service, no nonsense. Absolutely the best sushi I've ever had! No joke. Really reasonable prices on the combos. Two people are and we're full for $16 each including tax.

Stop in for some sushi at this newer High River restaurant. I thought that the nigiri style sushi & the maki roll were decent. Felt like the value based on quality/quantity according to price was average. For a small town location I would say this is going to be fairly popular...

I love sushi, and this was decent. I wouldn't rate it too highly as the fish needs to be trimmed more. Other than that, I had one grain of rice that was extremely hard. The fish tastes fresh, but again, it could really use more trimming.
I really enjoyed the spicy yam role.

Great little sushi place.
Prices are quite reasonable, food quality is fantastic.
I've been a returning customer for several months now and really enjoy the edoyaki rolls.

Maybe not the fanciest place to eat at but these folks put in the effort for very nice sushi.

I was really craving some sushi and tried this place today. It was the first time I had ever been served sushi on warm rice. It didn't work at all. The tuna looked like it was half cooked by the rice. I was hungry, but this was the first time in my life I couldn't eat what was served in a sushi restaurant. I will not be going there again. I hope this review helps to make improvements.

I've been going to Edoyaki at most once a week for months because it got me through high school and it's the best sushi ive had anywhere. The portions are massive for the price and prepared on order, it's delicious and the hot dishes (ramen, rice dishes, appetizers etc) are so warm and comforting during the winter. It's also just a good restaurant to sit in, there's cool stuff on all the walls, the ambiance is incredibly calming and it was a really nice reprive during exams for me. 100/10, highly reccomend.
