This is a really nice little pub. There is nothing outstanding about it - no epic views or epic food - but it it just generally nice, with good service and a good menu. I might not go back intentionally, but I certainly would return if the occasion called for it.

Stopped in for some dinner; food, service and the atmosphere were fantastic! Our table had 2 buckets of meatballs and a bacon jam burger with garlic fries! Delicious. Our server was very friendly and made us feel at home in another province, very friendly, laid back place.

This location has an interesting setup. When you walk in, it’s an open concept area for the most part. There is a section to the right side where it is somewhat more private and there is a bigger table for a bigger group. (If I remember correctly)Plenty of tables, option for tables with a bench side and chairs are available also.The ambience is great! We were greeted soon after we found a table and sat down.Our server was very friendly and upbeat. She had a great sense of humour!Our server (I apologize I cannot remember her name) was very helpful with food options! My husband ordered the Cobb Salad, which he very much enjoyed with the blue cheese dressing. Our cousin ordered the Brisket sandwich, which was messy but tasty, and his wife ordered the Bacon Jam burger. It sounded tasty to me, I almost ordered it, but I went for the Chicken Apple Brie sandwich. I had it on a GF bun. Was it ever delicious! The apple still had a bit of a crisp to it, the Brie was perfectly warmed and kept its form until I had my first bite! The chicken was juicy and cooked all the way through. The jam was an interesting but delicious combination to the whole thing. The GF bun held up during the meal. It didn’t crumble or fall apart and held up until the very end. Very impressed! The Cajun fries were pretty good, the flavour was good. There was a lot of seasoning on certain fries which got a little overwhelming at times, but I was able to enjoy them with the gravy. I didn’t get to ask if the gravy was gluten free, and it didn’t hit me until after I started eating it, to find out whether it was or not. It was good and had good, kind of thick consistency and flavour.We will definitely go back again to try other options on the menu!Oh, and almost forgot!! We tried the blueberry BBQ wings! They were actually better than expected. It seemed odd at first, but it actually turned out to be a good wing flavour! I’d definitely recommend trying it, if you enjoy blueberries.Vegetarian options: They offer a handful of vegetarian options. I almost tried the harvest garden veggie burger. Might have to try it next time! Sounds pretty tasty.Dietary restrictions: I asked if they had a gluten free option for what I ordered and thankfully they weren’t out this time, so I was able to enjoy what I ordered on a GF hamburger bun. The bun held up to expectations. It didn’t come apart or get crumbly and it was perfect with the type of burger that I ordered!!
