As High River residents, we’ve given this location a shot several times. My rating is not based on a one-off experience, as all our experiences follow the same disappointing result.

Today, however, was one for the books. We arrived with our two hungry, young children and proceeded to wait for at least 10 minutes before a server even acknowledged us. Once eye contact was made, she proceeded to take our order while informing us our actual server was ‘tied-up’. Please note, the lounge, where we were seated, was not busy. This continued with the kids finishing their drinks quickly with no one coming to check in on us. Next interaction was with another server that brought our food, which was cold. The kids pasta was clearly sitting at expo while the rest of the order caught up. Fast forward to no one checking in on how the food was or refilling drinks. My husband asked for a second drink which was never brought. When our actual server (the manager apparently) checked in when the food was done and asked how we were, I responded saying we weren’t great (considering all of the above). He brought the bill with no questions asked about about our disappointment. To add insult to injury, we were told the patio was closed when we arrived while other tables were sat outside while we were ignored.

Not impressed. Will not be returning under any circumstance. Do not waste your money for cold food and ignorant staff. Zero stars.

Jeff was our server and 100% is he amazing at his job. Will def go back, and will always ask to be sat with Jeff. Highly recommend.

This was our second visit to Mr Mike's, High River. The service was prompt and efficient and the server left us alone other than to check how our food was and whether we wanted anything. The food itself was excellent, hot,tasty and large portions. I can personally recommend thier burgers and fries. We will defintely be back.

We had an INCREDIBLE experience at Mr. Mikes in High River. I made a reso for 6 people and so did my Mom as this is the max that open table would allow us to make. When we arrived at the location, we were greated very warmly. The Manager (I believe) Jeff, asked if we wanted our tables together. We said yes and were thankful he was willing to accommodate a table of 12. Our drinks, orders and food was all taken and delivered FAST and smoothly. The service was 10/10 amazing. The food was very good. My steak was mouth watering. Bills were split exactly how we asked and no mandatory gratuity was placed on our bills which I appreciated and made us tip more! Thank you so much Jeff for a memorable experience at your restaurant. It started our holiday off on such a great start and yes, we had a blast at my daughter's wedding. PS - LOVE your gender neutral bathrooms. :) Thank you for prioritizing individual safety and privacy. THANK YOU!

The wait staff was very good but my food was quite cool when it came. That said, the food was delicious and cooked to my specifications. Steak was delicious and tender but had sections of gristle. Overall a very good experience and we had a 17 month old baby who was treated very well 🤗

Second visit now and is always a good consistent choice. Very polite and friendly staff. Good food. Does not disappoint. Will be back again

We love going to our local Mr. Mikes. The staff are wonderful, the food is great and the atmosphere wonderful.

Our server was friendly and cheerful and really made the dining experience so much more enjoyable just from her presence. The food was awesome and the Lobster Dunk was the perfect start to a great meal.

What wonderful service! Food was great. Service was awesome. Fairly priced. I'll definitely be returning.

Valentine's dinner was excellent, staff took great care of us and the value for such an excellent meal was great.

Chicken was excellent. 12 oz rib eye steak was tough. Sent it back received one marginally better. Took it home Will make stew!

Our u13 hockey team and families had a reservation for 41 people tonight and the staff at Mr Mikes in High river provided a great meal with great service. They were super organized with our large group everyone seemed to enjoy their meal, I would definitely recommend.

Kid-friendliness: The staff was great with our kids table.

Recommended dishes: Brownie with Ice Cream, Beef Dip and Very Little Fries, Cascadia Salad

Family lunch and we all had something different but everyone enjoyed their meal. Our server (Shelby) was engaging and helpful, quick to fill up coffee and water. Only minor complaint was background music a bit loud. With six seniors, it was a little hard to hear everyone talk.

Ate here many times and always enjoyed it, food and service are great. The gaucho ribeye is my go to with chimichurri and fries, so good!
