We decided to take a drive from Calgary and try a restaurant we’d never been to before, and Southfork in High River did not disappoint — it was fantastic.
My sister ordered the steak sandwich, medium rare, and it was cooked to absolute perfection. I had the blackened chicken with jalapeños, which was full of flavor and delicious. Chanda went with the blackened chicken avocado sandwich, and she was still praising it all the way back to Calgary.
Beyond the food, the experience really stood out because of the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and kind, which made the visit even better.
Highly recommend Southfork. It’s well worth the drive.

Southfork has always been a wonderful breakfast spot, but ever since the menu change I have been going at least once a week. They have THE BEST eggs benedict in town by far. They have homemade hollandaise, not the packaged stuff. The pulled pork benny is to die for!! Always great service, food is always quick and delicious. While I haven't been in for dinner service yet, I've heard great things from my friends who have gone.
The new owners have really done really great things at this place. Highly recommend!!!

The owners are so nice and the food is so good! I love eggs benny and it is impossible to find a place that doesn't use premade hollandaise sauce. But they make theirs from scratch and its great. Their prices are reasonable too. I would definitely recommend this place.
