I've been coming here for a few years now. You can see I left a review here 3 years ago as five stars. So a little while back I came in and was talking to a worker. I asked them what percent of the online tips they receive and this person told me zero! They also said they received zero of the tips received if a customer pays by debit! The only tip money they receive is if somebody gives some change next to the till.

I can't express how absolutely disgusted I am with this. When I leave a tip through debit or online it is intended for the worker who made my food and helped me. It is not for the greedy owner.

Is this even legal? How many customers have been duped by this thinking the tip was going to the employee and they received nothing! The same owner owns the other Subway in town so I assume they have the same disgusting system set up there.

If you are reading this and have frequented either of the subways in high River then I asked that you also please speak up and let it be known this nonsense is unacceptable ?

For what it's worth I am not friends with any of the employees who work there I am only a customer. Now an angry one

My husband went to this location for me with explicit instructions about ordering the sandwich I have ordered in the exact same way for years...BLT on flatbread. I have sensitive gums, so I cannot eat it toasted. I also do not like the cheese melted. As such, I always get the bread and bacon warmed separately in the microwave and put together after warmed. There had never been a problem with this before. The man who took this order insisted that the bread absolutely had to be toasted. He would not just warm it, and he wouldn't even just leave it cold. He toasted it completely dry and the sandwich we paid $14 for is inedible. Imagine trying to eat a BLT between 2 pieces of bread that was more like really thick chips and crunched and crumbled with every bite, not to mention all the sharp pieces that stabbed at my gums. I am extremely disappointed with this experience.

The location never opens on time. Saturday morning says open at 9am. Was there 10 min. priior to opening. Very disappointing. !!!

Service and place were clean, but if bringing new items like Churro, atleast make them eatable. Bought churro after sub and it had bad after taste and dry with no sauce.
