This was my first afternoon tea but my companions had experience afternoon tea before. Apparently, a classic afternoon tea includes finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and a selection of sweet pastries and cakes, all served with tea. The sandwiches are typically savory, with fillings like cucumber, smoked salmon, egg mayonnaise, and coronation chicken. An outstanding coffee shop! Operated by a guy who knows what he's doing & is willing to teach you how to make a real coffee. I bought myself an excellent espresso & a couple bags of beans roasted in-house. I hope to be back.
