Stopped on the way from Edmonton to Canmore. Soup and egg bites and coffee were as good as on the way to Edmonton 5 days ago. It sure beats stopping in red deer.

The Coffee Cottage in Innisfail is the best local coffee shop! The food is fresh, homemade, and absolutely to die for. I haven't bought anything from here I haven't loved, and I'm a fussy human! 100% 10/10 recommend!!!

This was a lovely place to eat and get a coffee. We got a breakfast wrap and it was very good. The owner was awesome to chat with and thus the service was great. The tea my wife had was soo yummy. Support this place. It's a gem in the community.

Their chicken salad was a particularly good sandwich, and their smoked meat was nice and tender with a good balance of flavours. Their baked goods, however, were absolutely incredible and kicked up the quality to exemplary! We've been to many places, and good figure small town Innisfail Alberta has one of the best biscuits we've ever hand! It has a quaint environment that fits the feel of a small town diner. Could use a bit of repairs for asthetics, but a small town business often has a small renovation budget so they've done really well with it. The basil soup was a bit basil tomato heavy for my tastes, but I know lots of people where it would be their pallet of soup--still very good. I just can't get over those biscuits! Next time we are in Innisfail, we're dropping by this diner!

So happy to have discovered this café! Great everything. They are friendly and welcoming. There are lots of cozy spaces to sit - by yourself or in a big group. I was told they even have spaces upstairs, with one being a space for parents with young kids (it has an adjoining playroom! - how great is that?) All homemade food, I had the curry chicken & lime soup with a scone and a caramel macchiato. It was delicious. Thank you!

I have visited this place since it opened, throughout the years and different owners. My last visit was not satisfying. The changes made to the Cafe have completely taken the charm. The selection was ok. It was busy with a bunch of gentle men that had a coffee visit. There was 1 lady for service and she was very overwhelmed. The breakfast sandwich was just ok.

Stopped here on a road trip. Fantastic sandwiches, soups and coffee. Staff are very lovely. Great little play room for the kids as well. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

I went in today to meet a friend for lunch… we are both gluten free and we had the most amazing and delicious gluten free sandwiches…. That’s right. I said delicious GF sandwich… if you know you know!!! I think I will just get them to make my lunch everyday!!!
The ladies were also busy over the holidays and did some major Reno’s and wow…. Totally different place. I’m in love!!

What a fabulous lunch at the coffee cottage today! I am Celiac and they made me the best egg salad sandwich I have ever had. The bread was so soft and fresh and they did not skimp out on the egg salad when making the sandwich.
