My favourite place to go to for a few drinks food, and pool with friends. Love that Sam is the one who works 90% of the time, she always made sure we were comfortable and if a situation came up she always makes sure to resolve it! Prices there are excellent and the atmosphere in general is a nice place to just sit back and relax while having a drink and some food!

We came in on a Wednesday night to celebrate my friends birthday. The bartender was on her phone the whole night, and if you didn’t go right up to the bar, you would not get more drinks. The service was incredibly subpar, but the in-house arcade games made up for the lack of hospitality. We decided to give it another shot on Friday night, assuming the bar would be busier on the weekend. We stayed for maybe 15 minutes, playing $1 games, and waiting for the pool table to open up. Sam (the same bartender from Wednesday) was working again. Two balls got stuck in the pool table after inserting our money. We asked for help, and Sam proceeded to swear at us and blame us for the pool table malfunctioning. We were disgusted. had to pay our bills and leave. I have never received such horrible service, and as a waitress myself I’m usually pretty understanding. I would never recommend The Zoo to anyone staying in Innisfail.

Great small town bar. A place I could drink beer in for hours... And have. Seen one guy leave a bad review because the bartender had shots with the patrons. I know this goes against pro serve rules, but for those of us born before 2000, we can appreciate a bartender that enjoys a pop or two with their patrons.
