Absolutely amazing food and services. I drove an hour from Calgary last week with friends, and it was an absolutely perfect dinner, worth the hour investment, food and service. After going there, I highly recommend it to my friends. They asked me if I was a Tokyo Ave promotional ambassador. lol. Tokyo Ave Restaurant is the place for special days and special people.^^

My husband I love this hidden gem in Innisfail! The food here is amazing, better than places in Red Deer and Calgary. The fish is fresh, food is perfectly seasoned, and so much care is put into the presentation of the dishes. The atmosphere is wonderful and the service is always top notch! We've been back several times and have never been disappointed. If you're looking for good sushi, hot or cold Japanese dishes, and a full belly, look no further.

It was an hour's drive from Calgary, but it was delicious and the ingredients were fresh, so you won't regret it at all. In particular, the menu that the chef personally created specifically for Koreans was always new and good. This was my second visit, but I am always satisfied with the friendly staff and the food prepared with care, and I recommend that others visit at least once.
As someone from the coast, I am always hesitate to try seafood this far inland. BUT Tokyo Ave never disappoints! always fresh and delicious! Great serving sizes and prices.

This place is amazing and definitely more authentic than other Japanese restaurants in the area, including its predecessor. Would definitely recommend trying every type of menu item over several visits, as we have.

We were searching where to eat after spending the day at Discovery wildlife park then found Tokyo Avenue with high reviews.. The moment we saw the chefs, ooh yeah this is an authentic japanese restaurant.. We were very satisfied with the food everything that we ordered was delicious, Oishī!!! Their server, Patricia, was very nice and attentive. She also explained to us the food that we ordered.. The chef was kind and gave us a free takoyaki, it has umami taste like the one we had in Osaka.. This is a gem in innisfail, highly recommended! I hope you will soon have a branch in Calgary..

Sublime food, friendly service. We travelled from Red Deer and it was well worth it! We ordered Takoyaki, Chicken Karaage, Dickson Roll, Thunder Roll, Moon Roll and Toro (tuna belly) sashimi. It was all delicious, but both agreed our favourite was the Moon Roll! They offered us each a Free scoop of ice cream for dessert. I had the Yuzu, a nice citrus mellow flavour. Hubby had the black sesame which was tasty! My only criticism, is it needs to be in Red Deer. They would hold their own in the city. Something to keep in mind if they ever expand. We will be back. ?
