My wife and I drove from Calgary for dinner at Forte. The service and atmosphere is decent but the ala carte leaves much to be desired. I ordered bone in New York strip medium got a small piece of steak and cooked well. Seems like it was cooked by a high school student and lacked presentation.When asked why I was not served what I ordered I was told that they were out of it. We had a great dinner at Forte tonight. Marianne our server was fantastic. Her recommendations for dishes were spot on and she was the perfect mix of professionalism and fun. Great sense of humour.

Presentation was good, and our server was good as well.
