It's hard to leave a 4 star review when 1/2 the food was good and the other half not. But I will based starts on all the meals we have had. We have gone to the Funky Monkey 3x now. We have had excellent food, until last night (Jan 15). First time we both had the steak sandwich (their special), so good! My steak was done right. The second time, we both had their BLTs. Can't really mess those up, but the service was great and the food. Last night, we went for my birthday...
Food was good, staff were friendly. Had wings and soup which were tasty. I wanted a quick lunch, but it took a bit long for the food to come, 25 minutes, so I could not try any desserts. It's a bit deserted in the upstairs dining room for lunch time of 12:30 ish.
Probably the best eggs Benedict I’ve EVER had. So much flavour! You have to try it. (Still perfect when ordering for takeout). Amazing and kind staff that goes above and beyond to accommodate your needs.Thank you for the amazing brunch.
