Original South China Sea Restaurant

This restaurant is deeply concerning. The presence of unsupervised teenagers behaving inappropriately behind the counters raises serious questions about management and hygiene. The chef's constant smoking is not only unprofessional but also suggests a disregard for health standards. Furthermore, the atmosphere is unsettling; the emptiness and eerie ambiance create an unpleasant dining experience. To top it off, the food itself is poorly prepared, with undercooked dishes being a frequent issue. Overall, it's a place best avoided.

Friendly staff. Excellent food. Huge portions. Fair prices. Their dinner for 6 will feed 12. Always leftovers. Never disappointment.

Truly fantastic food, portions are amazing and the food is ALWAYS fresh. We are so glad to have Original South China Sea in Lacombe, it is truly the only good option for chinese food in Lacombe.

We order every month and just ordered again! Truly have never been disapointed!

Terrible service, went in with the girlfriend, brought wrong drinks, no big deal, but then they just left us there, no drink, no coming back so we could order. Too busy cackling and chatting behind the counter. Will bring our money where it's appreciated

We have been there several times. We also the dinner for six except last night was dinner for eight. We don’t eat shrimp or pork and have always changed items for chicken. This was the first time that we were charged extra for the change. This was very disappointing. We should of ordered two dinner for four would of been cheaper

Why would a restaurant close and not change their website to notify faithful customers?
And not even a notification on their phone!

Food is outstanding! But they do not answer the phone and just put you on hold if they are busy. You call and call .......Need to be patient when picking up as all over the place......

Arrived, and waited 15 min for menus(table of 2). Table across from us arrived 10 min after we did, had there door 10 min before us(table of 6). My plate arrived, waited over 5 min for my wife’s plate to arrive. 1/3 of my meal was cold, like fridge cold. Had a coffee and water. No refills on either. Waitress could not show less care for the customers.
We don’t eat out often and this was to be a treat, and was not good.

We normally get takeout from here, but we do go and sit down when my father in law is in town. The food is always amazing, the restaurant is clean and well looked after, and the staff are generally phenomenal
