My wife & I started with Samosa Chaat to share which is so flavourful and filling, then our mains were Chicken Tandoori for her, and Chicken Vindaloo for myself, (I chose the spicy option this evening, and loved every bite), and of course, cheese naans. Also ordered Classic Paneer Tikka to take home. I have to say, so far the meals we've had are so rich in flavour, in generous proportions, presented by friendly wait staff, and we have not been disappointed. Swiftly became one of my favorite spots to eat out.
They are just amazing. I have tried many options at The 1947 Indian Restaurant and they all were so yum whether appetizers, main meal or deserts. Also, my delivery for food was cancelled by DoorDash due to unavailability of any driver. Still, the restaurant made the delivery possible by themselves. Thanks to them for their sweet efforts. Undoubtedly, it is highly recommended for the delicious food and the special customer service.

Understated, classic and contemporary design. Very accommodating staff and owner. Our party had a selection of items on the menu all of which were out of this world great. Have not had great Indian food like this since Vancouver, BC. Will definitely be back!
