We really enjoyed the Falafel Bowl and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich! The service was excellent and our food was on the table in almost no time. Also highly recommend the desserts, though we were too stuffed from our meals to have one today.
We went there Sunday morning for breakfast. We were seated and as we waited for our server we noticed a a lot of people coming in for their take out coffees and doughnuts. There were 3 of us adults and a baby, and as we sat there we noticed a very cold draft blowing on us from the vents above us. It was 1/2 hour of sitting there and getting colder that we asked to be moved. As we sat there, we still haven’t received water, or coffee or even a menu. We had a discussion that if it took any longer then 15 min we would leave. Finally after an hour we were asked what we wanted to drink. Then after 15 minutes we received our coffee. The meal was good, coffee was hot and warmed us up. Our waitress was kind and apologetic. There should have been more staff there. We won’t be back for a sit down meal, but we will come in for take out coffee and doughnuts which are delicious.
Some of my favourite food and coffee in Lacombe, the servers are all so sweet!

This was such a worthwhile stop off the highway to grab food for the rest of the road trip - staff were incredibly friendly and the food was outstanding!

Lovely Cafe/Bistro in Lacombe! The donuts are amazing. Very light but incredibly flavourful! We came in as a large group but the staff were welcoming, pleasant and patient with our order. Proceeds from donut purchases go to the Broom Tree Foundation - a very worthwhile local foundation serving and empowering women. Will come back again!

Loved the pesto chicken gnocchi and I come for their donuts every now and again. I like the atmosphere and look of the place, and the staff are always friendly.

Lacombe can be very proud of having a business such as this. It deserves our patronage. Here is my concern. I have recently started purchasing pastries in the quantity of 6 to take to a friend. It is my understanding that when purchasing 6 or more pastries for take-out there should be no GST. Tollers insists on charging the GST thus collecting additional money for the government with the argument that it is “company policy”. Grocery stores and Tim’s are able to program their tills to reflect this price break. Why not you? Respectfully…

A delightful place to stop if you're traveling the QEII! Lovely treats, superb atmosphere, I'm extremely jealous that this place isn't in my town as I would absolutely be a regular.

Eggs Benedict are delicious. Only thing was the eggs were as hard as a rock, perhaps my fault for ordering eggs medium cooked?
Ham slices from a ham roast instead of deli would be more than 5 stars. Yeast waffles would be divine.

Delicious. Patio had fresh flowers. The coffee is great quality and I had the house salad —which I will be coming back for all summer!! New favorite salad. Fries looked delicious & I know I will add them to my order next time.

This place is truly excellent. Forget gasoline alley. This is where you want to stop between Calgary and Edmonton. The food is high quality and delicious. Their donuts are excellent. If you're thinking of stopping at the Donut Mill, do yourself a favor and go here instead. The donuts here are more expensive but much much better! It's only 1 minute off the highway - it's actually easier to get into and out of than gasoline alley. We always plan our trips to land here for lunch.

Ordered a burger and an order of falafel. Paid almost 30$ for a burger that had enough salt to give anyone a heart attack. Did not the order of falafel but found 3 falafels on the burger. Also not edible. Complete waste of time and money. Lesson learned.

Went in for a coffee to go. Cost $5! And it was stale- probably made hours ago
After a great Lunch experience the week before we went in to have breakfast this past Friday. For two of the people at the table who each got the waffles they were really good. For myself I ordered the Eggs Benedict with a soft yolk. When it came the egg was pretty much hard boiled. I asked the waitress if they could redo it and she was more than accommodating. The problem laid within the kitchen. After I sent it back I waited longer to get it back than it took in the first place, as the cook decided to punish me I felt, by doing every order that came in after before my order. We could hear the waitress trying to get the eggs correct but when I finally got my order back, after everyone else was finished and their plates removed. The egg was overcooked again and was definitely a hard cooked egg. You could make egg salad with it. Someone needs to teach the chef how to cook eggs at different temperatures, and she certainly needs an attitude adjustment.
